They need to revamp the entire melee system. Its so static. Theres very little incentive to block. Theres very little incentive to even really get into melee range. Just going through all of the melee weapon animations in the game, can anyone really say that theres one animation set that really stands out as a reliable, practical, never lets you down weapon animation? The spear maybe? The falchion? Theres a video on my channel of what the Battle Axe used to look like before it was nerfed and changed and I can confidently say, by a marginal long shot, the pre patch Battle Axe animation set was the best animation set Dark and Darker will ever get. And it seems like I am the only player who really got to experience that amazing weapon. As a melee enjoyer, I'm losing substantial interest in the game because the melee system is so limiting and annoying, that I just can't find enjoyment in the game. I give Dark and Darker melee system a 3.5/10.

Druid’s just not great now, they don’t have good ranged options and lose most melee fights, they’re decent in a team comp because they have crowd control and healing and they have the best movement in the game but they just can’t win 1v1 fights unless you play significantly better than your opponent
I mean.. best mobility in the game, crowd control, can one shot 170 HP barbs with a reasonable amount of strength, have some decent healing, and can use spear. It's a high skill ceiling class and people are still figuring out how to play it well. Baiting with spear to get someone to close in then hitting them with bear has been a great strat but I've only seen like two other people EVER do it. People just gave up on the class after it wasn't abusable anymore, just like warlock. Ranged/melee hybrid warlock builds can be insane but people just meta slave in this game. Phantomize and blow of corruption are incredible for melee on warlock and they have access to the best melee weapons in the game.
@@Zistac7 the problem with the bear one shot, is it requires your opponent to make a mistake, any hood player won’t get hit by the bear it’s too slow. Or you can trap them but if you do that the bear is kind of unnecessary at that point

Potion chugger is only providing around another 3 HP per potion. I still heal up faster on my fighter because bandages are quicker
well the thing is barbarian resoursefullnes is trash so it actualy heals you extremely faster on the class using the perk
