There's nothing like finding out you're pregnant again! I'm 14 weeks but I've been so nostalgic lately can't wait to go through the moment of seeing my baby for the first time again!
Hearing him talk about respecting his wife and wishing he'd respected his mother more was very profound and beautiful. Every woman should be valued at least this much. It would bring much needed healing to our families and our world. God bless their family.
Hearing the dad talk about how all he wants is his son to respect his mama is literally what made me subscribed. I wish my boys dad would have felt that way. That was just so special, thank you for sharing!!!!
We hope you enjoy this video. It is an incredibly special and private moment for our family but we wanted to share with everyone just how great babies are!
+Janna and Braden Congratulations, you two. Just came over from Carl and Jinger's channel to visit and give love. You did great! Prepare yourself for the wildest and most fulfilling ride of your life! ♥
Good to have you! Thanks I worked really hard through all of that ;) but yes Janna was amazing! We have already been learning what you mean by wild but fulfilling ride! - Braden
Okay so this video has almost hit 200,000 views, which we cannot BELIEVE! We'd love to know where everyone is from that is viewing this so comment and let us know! 🌎🌍🌏
This is one of the best birth vlogs I have seen. No gimmicks, no montages, just a beautifully edited video of your experience. Congratulations on your new arrival!
+TheMrsGosnell Well thank you, that is so kind of you. We really just wanted to share how incredible families and children are :) Lots of work though XD
+sarah naqvi yeah! We just did a behind the scenes video of our birth with her of some of our never before seen footage! Go check out "intermountain moms" on Facebook to see it! It's beautiful.
I had my husband watch this video to prepare him for labor and delivery. This was so raw and real. I love it! It was perfect to help my husband have perspective of how things will go. It’s me and my husbands first baby so it helps me and him both!!
That OB was a jerk. He didn't even know the gender of your child, wouldn't respect your wishes to not cut the cord right away, and then he kept pushing to do an episiotomy. Just didn't seem like he cared. I much prefer midwives. I have had nothing but bad experiences with OBs. Midwives are much more personable, and they 100% will advocate to do whatever it is that you wish as long as circumstances allow it. Anyway the real point of me commenting was to say congratulations! I love your sons name. I love how humble you and your family are and this was a beautiful video. I am also from Utah! I grew up in Sandy. So in a strange way I felt more connected to your family. ❤️
If there is meconium, they need to get the baby over to the NICU team right away. They had to cut the cord immediately. Meconium aspiration is no joke. A friend of mine lost her baby due to it. I understand that doctors intervene too much sometimes, but in this circumstance, he was justified.
Donna Levy not true. I just delivered a baby with meconium present. They waited for the cord to stop pulsing, I had immediate skin to skin for THREE hours before they even touched my baby. No NICU team had to look at my baby. Your body can push any meconium out of the baby naturally with slow pushing and allowing baby to stay crowned for a couple contractions before delivering the body.
Most of you are missing the fact there was meconium present, he had to get it done fast to avoid a serious complication... ease off on the ob. They did what was best at that moment.
I cried a little watching this , my really close aunt is having her first baby a couple weeks early (this wed. Or Thurs.) and I don't know what my reaction is going to be like , happy I found this, don't even know how I found this...btw beautiful baby and family!
woow. you and that baby are such toughies =) his birthday is soon so happy birthday to him!! btw, this is my intro to your channel. first vid I've seen. and I'm glad I found it CX
hey that nurse have her own UA-cam channel and she talk about baby and giving good advance! I always watch her video every time I'm pregnant she help me a lots!!
I've been watching your videos for the last few months and went back to watch this and I am blubbing. So cute and I'm glad everything went well for you both!
"I don't even know how to hold him!" - This was so me when our daughter was born April 6th. lol! Love the video, and I love that the doctor offered you the choice of episiotomy or none... I was informed I was having one, no choice, as baby was partially out. My husband said it had to do with how she was coming out and her shoulders being in a position that was causing the issue. It wasn't a pleasant experience (episiotomy) and I'm still recovering/healing from it (I had a hematoma along with the cut/stitches to deal with). Had I the choice to say no, I would have said no way. Of course, every situation is different, and who's to know what the outcome would have been had I said no and allowed a natural tear. Daughter was 8lbs 5oz and 21 inches long at birth (41 weeks 1 day), so she was a large baby! :)
This was adorable!! Oh my gosh I was a ball baby this entire video. He turned out perfect. I love seeing other Mormons on UA-cam. Makes us happy! We have our little boy in June! We can't wait! Thanks for your video.
+Turtleduv9 +Student7 Elementary We're SO happy to have you both along! And glad you enjoyed the video, it is really special for us :) We'll keep posting more videos of him.

i bet she does not know what a meconium is

The docs were power tripping
+gentlemen59 The doctor didn't even get the gender of the baby right at 5:43. Called him a "her".
Love Peace
Annoying doctor. He made me cringe. Pushing episiotomy and lying that it prevents tearing. It’s exactly the opposite. Gross
I loved this vlog. it reminded me that us women are strong and beautiful to give birth to our children.
be blessed
