Not quite accurate. You have the gold mines wrong. Unemployed Men from eSwatini lesotho malawi zimbabwe zambia mozambique signed up voluntarily in their home country. They were bussed to SA mines. They got board and lodging and pocket money. At the end of their contract around 6 months they were bussed back home and next day went to the office and got their full salary. This was a good system as it ensured their money went to support their families as well as bringing foreign exchange for their companies. Now many mines are closed and there is poverty and unemployment in many of these countrirs. You are rather biased on this topic.
