I’ve lived in Southend all my life, fifty five years. In the last five years it has become a different place. We all dread bank holiday weekends when hoards of the ‘new’ Londoners come down on the train on mass and cause mayhem. But also the town has change significantly with regards to the amount of foreigners have arrived here so much so that it’s unusual to hear native English being spoken in supermarkets for example and because this has happened so fast and such high numbers that there doesn’t seem to be any signs of integration and now I’ve even noticed local people following the ways of the new people.
Walking down the High Street all you hear is foreign voices. Westcliff used to be considered a well-to-do area, now full of groups of men that leer and speak in their own language. London Road is exactly that, a representation of London - all foreigners. Plenty of Summers we've had these gangs now, they come and fight in front of all of the children trying to play. It's a disgrace.

I went dancing last night and one of my dance ladies I nattered with told me, that on Sunday she had taken her grandchildren to Southsea beach by the South Parade Pier. The big Royal Beach Hotel is 30yards away opposite the pier and has been taken over by migrants. While the families were taking the sun and their children were playing in the surf and trying to build sandcastles in the sparse sand a crowd of these migrants decided to join in by stamping on sand castles, grabbing the spades and kicking the childrens playballs away and generally being a complete pile of shite to every one.
Sadly the indigenous population have became an inconvenience to the WEF political leaders , thus the police will not defend them ,only the preferred demographic

Yes, I remember Southend 50 - 60 years ago. Tea and a slice of Genoa cake on the sea front, fish and chips that always tasted better by the sea, Peter Pans Playground... and police officers who were on top of any trouble as soon as it kicked off. The police stopped you to search for knifes so the locals took to sharpening their combs like razor blades as a weapon. They was lucky to have been sent to Wisbech during the war, what a lovely place that was, now the Polish and Russians run it. Up to about 10-15 years ago they had fruit and veg stalls unmanned at the side of the road near the fields with bags of produce with a price on the side and an honesty box to put your money in. Not any more. I went dancing last night and one of my dance ladies I nattered with told me, that on Sunday she had taken her grandchildren to Southsea beach by the South Parade Pier.
The big Royal Beach Hotel is 30yards away opposite the pier and has been taken over by migrants.
While the families were taking the sun and their children were playing in the surf and trying to build sandcastles in the sparse sand a crowd of these migrants decided to join in by stamping on sand castles, grabbing the spades and kicking the childrens playballs away and generally being a complete pile of shite to every one.
This was a gentlemanly duel. They were inspired by the Olympic fencing.
How strange that this is not being reported in the mainstream media.

As per the footage, they did all of that right in front of several police officers, with no regard to them whatsoever. They know they can carry on like this with impunity. I daresay if an Englishman had rushed over to intervene, the police would have set on him immediately "for his own safety".

Yes, I remember Southend 50 - 60 years ago. Tea and a slice of Genoa cake on the sea front, fish and chips that always tasted better by the sea, Peter Pans Playground... and police officers who were on top of any trouble as soon as it kicked off. Not afraid to get in there and protect the public interest. Shame, really. The tea and Genoa cake is still there. The fish 'n' chips still taste better. Pete Pan grew up into Adventure Island... now, what's the bit that changed...?

When I was there just a few months ago at least the seafront chippy was still friendly and welcoming (though was foreign himself).
The town centre was considerably "blkd up" though.
You could just feel things going astray somehow.
Those of us of a certain age remember when a trip to the seaside was a day of pleasure and enjoyment and the country generally was a nice place to be, how that has changed and not for the better.
A modern day version of 1960's Bank Holiday fights at Southend between Mods and Rockers. However, back then the police turned up and were allowed to deal with it to ensure the perpetrators thought twice about in the future.
A famous technique employed was to remove the laces and belts from skinheads at Southend Central station.
However, as somebody who worked on the seafront in the 70s, I can tell you that piles of litter after sunny days is not a new thing. The refuse bans used to drive up the pavement in the evenings and again in the mornings, emptying bins and sweeping the pavements.
How can we live like this???

I’ll back you up on that, my dad moved from the East End in the 50’s due to the violence, the Turkish run the drugs, Maltese run the prostitution, Irish and Londoners ran various gangs and crime. The Turkish took a street at a time and every barrow gang said they’ll never take that street (they did & it didn’t stop). The police stopped you to search for knifes so the locals took to sharpening their combs like razor blades as a weapon. They was lucky to have been sent to Wisbech during the war, what a lovely place that was, now the Polish and Russians run it. Up to about 10-15 years ago they had fruit and veg stalls unmanned at the side of the road near the fields with bags of produce with a price on the side and an honesty box to put your money in. Not any more.
