- Disclaimer: Disable Lane Departure Guidance at your own risk ⚠️ Im not responsible if you fall asleep 😴 with lane departure deactivated. This is a safty feature as safety tools are used to help you stay alert 🚨 and stay focused.
This is a video about turning off lane departure guidance. So annoying buzzing sound from your left and right speakers. This feature is really useful when your exhausted and may fall asleep at the wheel and will act as an virtual rumble strip when the truck sways to either side of the road. - Навчання та стиль
Mines been going crazy , haven't been able to turn it off. It has literally been torture for the last month... all these gadgets in these trucks are a joke and they " supposedly keep us safe. " Thanks for the video.
what type and year truck do you drive?
Had to stop back by and say thank you!! Sanity is saved
no problem just make sure you disable at your own risk… safety comes 1st. 😊
Bro I had to come back and comment, I got assigned this new truck today and I could t stop thinking about it even after I parked I put my last things in it I’m trying to do setting etc etc, anyways, bro I thank you so much my first trip and on is gonna be the best I’m not gonna go insane lol, everyone else’s comments too omg I wasn’t the only one thank you again, I feel like burning that fuse with a torch😂
happy to help
Thanks. That was driving me crazy. F70 is the fuse for the front raidar and auto breaking if anyone wants to pull that one too.
This saved my sanity about a month ago and only heard it for 15 minutes I said I can’t do this lol thank you for this video. I want to just burn that stupid fuse and throw away
I drive a Freightliner 2024 same thing, you have to keep pushing the lane departure button all day I must push it 50 60 times a day, 😅 the second solution besides pulling the fuse take some tape and cover the lane I on the outside of the windshield it will error and you can still have a peaceful drive.
Works on my 2020 cascadia
Thank you brother
It’s been driving me crazy
THANK YOU! Just bought mine yesterday. This is my first order of business!
This is exactly
what I was looking for. I drove for a major 48 state Carrier and this was so annoying.
Thank you Jesus! Love your video! Exactly what I was looking for! Perfect!
I got this freightliner as a replacement truck. Oh my God that sencor is very loud and very annoying. Now, 12:02 mid night. I dont have words to say you thankyou. Thd first available video was yours. I followed and now I am in peace. Again thankyou so much .
The switch we turned off will remain off and come back to normal. Thanks
glad i was able to help! yes it’s annoying! just remember to replace the fuse when ever you return or get a pm on a truck.
@@ShaunWaveTrucking
Thanks
Hi, one more time need your help. How to disable the distance warning?it is too loud and restrict your movement. Thanks in advance.
@@tughral that my friend i don’t know how to disable that. Im thinking it could be a fuse of some sort. That is one thing i would leave on as that is more of a safety concern to make sure we are keeping a safe following distance. That’s probably something i won’t cover on this channel. 😊
@@ShaunWaveTrucking
Thank you so much
Ok I’ve been dealing with this buzzing noise since my Boss Man bought this truck 4 months ago from Warner. I’m going to try this. Hopefully it works on a 2020 if it does, I’ll come back. And say thanks 😊
Thank you dude you a life saver lol ig got stuck on the one I drove today
Omg thank god I saw this. Im gonna check n do that now.
It works
thanks a lot brother was driving me nuts
Tnx a lot, and for anybody watching this video, you can do same thing if you get a warning that lane departure is not working.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Did the trick. 😃
This is a horrible feature for seasoned drivers. Maybe it's useful for new or drivers in training.. anyway, so appreciative of this tip. I'm in somebody's loaner truck and it had this feature. Now, I'm back to buzzer free driving. I'll be making sure to replace that 10 amp fuse in its place as soon as I vacate this vehicle... Lol
i agree…. im still a baby as i’ve only got 9 years of experience in otr, regional, and local.
@@ShaunWaveTrucking .... Hahaha.. well, you're a bigger baby than I am. I started in 2014. And at this point I don't need lane control alerts.. Ha!
The ending though
Lol
This video got me hopeful but 2021 Cascadia doesn't have a fuse there even that on the door it says the same as on the video. I'm a bit confused now. Back to keeping a towel on passengers speaker. Lol.
Thanks meye Broseph 😁
I found a work around for 2022 Freightliner... I posted it on my channel. Works great, EVERYTHING else works properly.
How ? by pulling the ldw switch
@@jr3254 yes they pop out when you press the tabs in...
THANK YOU!!!!!
Thanks brother just did it hopefully it works out
Which fuse disables the Distance warning sensor I hate that thing every guardrail sets it off
Does that affect the adaptive cruise control ?
Thank you!
Wouldn't be so bad if they picked a different sound. Maybe one that didn't sound like someone is driving a drill into your skull. LoL
My beef is, on very windy days it’s hard to keep the semi and trailer between the lines, the company threatened to fire any person tampering with it 😢
Can confirm on my 2023 that it shows to list it as the same fuse in the same spot (F63), but my truck has no fuse there and I’m still getting the Annoying noise.
maybe its tied to another fuse that functions with something else?? I feel it’s only a matter of time when these companies will totally hide a way to disable the lane departure feature…
Yeah.. on 2022 & up.. it's tied to your adaptive cruise! Pull it, & now you don't have cruise control. At least that's how mine is set up.
@@mikekirby9310 no cruise control at all ?
Mine has no fuse. I think it's tied to adaptive cruise control. If you pull that fuse it means you manual have to set your cruise
2023(2024) here. No Lane departure fuse.
So far the only thing I saw is to block the camera (inside notch at top center of windshield) from the outside with something like electrical tape.
Either that or disconnect the speakers in the doors and use an external speaker or the rear speakers.
Thanks for the video what about the collision alarm I have my mountain bike mounted on my front guard and it keeps thinking there's a collision about to happen it's very annoying
The fuse is already removed in the truck I'm using, yet it still goes off. My company did that on purpose.
Why that trailer video though 😂😂😭😭
Because that what you want to do after hearing that noise too many times
That's help if you get sleepy I leave that there.
The ending credits 😂😂😂😂
I pull fuse out and sound is still on??
On a 2022 just pull the ldw switch on the dash by the hazard switch and no more ldw noise ,and when you need to have the truck serviced or whatever just pop it back in ,guarantee it works
😂😂 I'll never pit it back
On a ‘22 version the breaker isn’t there.
Same on a 2021 model ☹️
when i upgrade to a 22 or 23 model i will see what i can do.
I posted a work around on my channel (works perfectly on my 2022)
@@TranslatedAssumption did you ever find a solution the fuse isn’t there ??? Other than taking the switch out ?
Hi, I took fuse out as shown in video but still beeping
I have a 2017, how can I disable lane alert?
What if the fuse is not there ?
Ending was hilarious XD but yes these new safety features are hot garbage. lane departure triggers for merging on ramps every day. speed limit reader tells me the interstate speed limit is 35 and wants to jake break me. collision is little more useful but very rarely because a good driver wouldnt be in those situations, and then again it could trigger for false alarms!!!
Yea well my fuse missing but still does it. So I'm assuming comp wired it in direct by passing fuse
Thanks man
Any idea where the fuse is on a new 2024 Freightliner cascadia model? I cant seem to find it. I dont see anything for Lane Departure.
I just bought a truck from a big fleet, the truck has a departure warning, but there’s no fuse, any suggestion what should I do?
On a 2023 Cascadia would the fuse box be under the hood?
wth... I'm in a 2022 Freightliner, it has the exact same fuse in the exact same location showing Lane departure warning... except there is NO FUSE in the slot... but my lane departure is operating.... any ideas????
Damn the fuse isn’t even in and it’s still making that annoying ass sound.
I unplugged the speakers
That is where I'm heading pal.
Can't even get a new truck with a fucken CD anyway.
On a 2022 the system uses your stereo speakers. Annoying as hell!
I've got a 2024 i wonder if you swapped out the stereo is that would fix it?
Yeah, think I'm going to have to do this to. Unless I can discreetly block the view of the camera. But I think speakers are the way to go for newer trucks.
I'm going to first try and see if anything output from front speakers to rear helps anything.
I'll find a way to get around these dumb "safety" features.
Dont work
U didn’t show where the fuse box at
ive made that video too….. ua-cam.com/video/dkQkqJNQJBM/v-deo.html
The edit 😂😂😂
I fucking hate that sound. Mile 2500 i was about to loose it
My truck doesn't have this fuse on that spot but the diagram says that is there 🤔
I just bought my truck and went to take the fuse out bit it's already gone so what now
