I was there too. I went to every Falcons home game that season. But for the life of me I have no memory of the game. With the way they were playing this game even with Chandler out most the game makes me sick to think back about the SB
Agree 1000% Gary. I stayed up late Saturday night and I heard something on Sportscenter about the incident. The team didn't get much sleep and it threw off all the mojo. I'd rather forget about the next day. It was miserable.
Does the two NFL teams, the Miami Dolphins (which they belong in the AFC East Division) and the Carolina Panthers (which they were members of the NFC West Division) have Southern roots? Did they play in Week 17 of the 1998 NFL season? Is it because the Dolphins and the Falcons are Southerners because they play 🏈 football 🏈 at the professional level? Where were the Southern-style buttermilk fried chicken and the Southern-style biscuits?
Omg Jimmy Johnson was so bad at scheming. He chose players at good depth in the draft and positioned properly, and it ends there. Complete trash at scheming, defense would get burned on huge plays by good teams. Just watch games like this, vs Denver in divisional, and of course the infamous Jacksonville game. This game was a prologue to Jacksonville. Can’t believe that joker couldn’t put together an offense or scheme on defense
I took my Father to this game. It will live forever!

1:38:33 The only memory I choose to recognize from this game.
I feel like Marino had his best rushing days against my Falcons, he also had a nice scramble in 1995 against us.

Don't forget The NFL Today Pregame show that preceded it.
I was at this game.
Me too.
@@garygriggs2078 the Dome was lit! Sux that Eugene Robinson f***ed it all up. We win the Superbowl if that didn't happen.

Do you have the entire 98’ Falcons season?
I was there
Tony Martin playing against his former team.

Each year, a division in the NFC is assigned to play every team in a specific AFC division. In 1995 & 1998, Falcons played the teams in the AFC East
Spoiler alert: this game meant nothing for either team
