I can't stress how much I love this. Beginning with it being my mothers' favorite tape and therefore having grown up to it (she was a singer herself, rip mom 💜), I have just never seen a more fun version: Carlos Kleiber perfectly times this fun and alive climax of Austrian operetta, a beautifully harmonizing cast (Pamela Coburn and Janet Perry performing together is just gold) plays most freely and happily quasi at home and mostly in roles that were almost made for them, especially for Eberhard Wächter, overall amazingly cast roles, especially Brigitte Fassbaender performing the most powerful and believable young playboy Prince Orloffsky I have ever seen, Franz Muxeneder as the most fun and quirky Frosch just one last time shortly before he died way too early and Ferry Gruber's Bilnd and last but not least the addition of the Bavarian State Ballet dancing to Strauss' "Unter Donner und Blitz" make this production one of the most enjoyable operettas (and operas) I have ever had to watch and/or attend. And there were plenty of them. And plenty that were just sooo boring... sorry, mom ^^ I will never forget this piece and performance as long as I live and will show it to anyone who wants (and doesn't want) to see it.

Jamal Anderson was a sorry fullback playing tailback he got over 1800 yards that year but it took over 400 carries never was worth watching too boring of a player

I got to see one game in the old Comiskey Park in the early 1990's although I don't recall the exact year but it was in May. They played the Blue Jays and I don't remember who won but I remember Fred McGriff hitting a homerun into the right field seats late in the game. It was a great experience.
