- Welcome to Topaz Studio 2, the future of creative photo editing. Harness the power of Topaz Studio to create stylized and striking works of art from your digital images. Edit your images beautifully with powerful filters and frictionless masking in a fine-tuned
non-destructive layer workflow.
Topaz Studio 2 has only one purpose: creative photo editing. This starts after you select your image and ends when you export your finished work. It's designed specifically around the artisanal post-processing workflow of painstakingly crafting a single image to your vision.

Wow you are right, I thought Topaz edition 1 was good. But can't hold a candle to the Studio 2. I can't seem to take a break with all of my pictures I am fooling with. This is a must for anyone that is addicted to Topaz 1 the way I WAS.... Now I can't get enough of this software!
A few questions, where are the plug-ins? I routinely send from Studio to one of the plug-ins and back. When using a tool and zoomed, holding down the space bar would allow you to navigate around your image.. that doesn't seem to work in this version of studio. Using the smudge tool. I usually invert the mask and paint on the effect only to those areas that I want it on... when inverting the mask in this version the effect seems to disappear. Any chance of showing a histogram? Otherwise, as i am a regular user of Studio, I found it pretty easy to work in Studio 2
How do I add image layer e.g. add logo to adjusted photo from within Topaz Studio 2?
Where are the plugins and presets that I could see in Studio 1?... Topaz Studio no 2 seems to me to be incomplete and limited also I had a problem getting the programe to launch initially.. had to uninstall and reinstall it twice.. kept getting message Error: launch plugin-in failure.. and it would crash photoshop CC I have Windows 10, 64 bit machine.. It seemed to right itself on the third go.
Oh lord, I'm totally lost. I got Studio 2 but should I delete Studio 1? from the video it seems like there are parts missing. And do I need to upgrade to get a whole 'Studio 2'?
perfect editor
Is there a better promotional video the shows how it can process a RAW photo into a real life photo without just adding color swirls and childish advertising graphics? I am trying the new Sharpen trial but it is painfully slow and has no masking capabilities so I am apprehensive. I love using Luminar and want something similar and just as fast.
Yeah, this promotional video doesn't showcase anything, it feels like it only does the same stuff that I can do on my phone with free apps
That's the best you can do for a brand new version of Studio. Anyone who has never used studio woud be utterly lost in that video. JMO
It’s not a “how to”, it’s a “what can”
For $99 they can find out... or if you had the older version find out what you're going to have to do without - for free.
@@oceandrew I do have the old version and before that when studio was just someones idea, I also received the new version for free, as I wrote above JMO that a 1 minute video for a new software is just laziness, Topaz have had some time to at least come out with something usefull to someone who sees this for the first time, this video is more like the voice over for something sold with terms and conditions and the speaker just wants to get it over with and go home!!!
@@russellwebb3672 I am no Topaz cheerleader but have been a Topaz user for many years (long before PhotoFXLab even). I hope for their sake they figure out what direction they want to go in and resolve the issues they've had with Studio and most of the AI programs that for many users end in crashes & freeze ups. But I grant you that their PR dept is far more capable than their customer service so their promotions do outpace their performance.
@oceandrew totally agree, i was batch rendering a lot of AI gigapixel images and it just randomly crashed on me
So....just the same as what phone apps can do then ?
Awesome
i have a couple of questions,1) is topaz studio 2 a repalcement for the original topaz studio, can i uninstall the older one,2)i cant find my plugins in the new version (gigapixel ai,sharpen ai,adjust ai,etc),there is no plugin tab in the menu bar,and 3) the effects synchonisation is also missing,if this version is a replacement it would be annoying to leave the program everytime i would need gigapixel, adjust, etc and then have to restart studio
I have not uninstalled Topaz Studio 1 and installed Topaz Studio 2 which is working fine. There were updates today when I opened Studio 2 and got all the filters with the update. I also had problems previously as I felt it was incomplete but now it seems complete and stable.
@@ashoksoni8825 yep Ashok,i also found out that studio 2 is independent from studio 1,and Studio 2 now has a menu for the plug-ins,but still gigapixel AI doesnt show up,adjust AI And sharpen AI do,strange
altough i have gigapixel AI installed
batch processing function? where is it located?
its a Magic
Looks like a $300 instagram effects editor. Not sure about this
Why does your video deal with Studio and not Studio 2? They are totally different.
just be quiet please
Matt Knoff 6 months to reply and that’s the best you can come up with? 😂😂😂😂
@@Mrtee1950 I'm sorry, the isolation and monotony of things has gotten to me. I'll do better 😜
Matt Knoff Apology accepted
Nice Editor just too costly
Multi-Language Support?
Unless you can't speak it, what's wrong with using English?
@@agiverreviga4592 whats wrong with using German? What an arrogance
It looks like an editor for a sixth grader
IDK, great software but full of bugs. Feels like a beta version, to be honest. EDIT: ok, I've been using it for 3 days now. There are some MAJOR bugs: every couple of minutes the whole project resets to the original image. Very unstable software. And one of the biggest bugs: the export doesn't work. I was able to export my images a couple of times but today - fail. It renders it like it's exporting and doing something but it doesn't. Amazingly, you decided to release this software with all these major bugs. EDIT2: After one month of using the trial version of Topaz Studio and troubleshooting with their support - I've decided to give up and uninstall this software. So beware before buying. You should try the trial version first. If it works ok for you then buy it.
Guys you’re wizards but all of these sample images were meh. Not very classy. Looks like you’re marketing to hobbyists?
It looked like those Android editing apps for me.
hum. i just watched this video and it doesnt look as bad as it appears in the AD. I guess is just a terrible comercial. ua-cam.com/video/6ARaW0r88_M/v-deo.html
I wouldn't have a problem with this if you just stop showing horrible "artistic styles" that no one uses....
meh
Ewww... All I saw here was tacky, eye bleeding or outright disgusting for any professional, or even serious hobbyist photographer. It's not even step up from level of (although equally tacky, but free!) Instagram filters, but like step sideways. Have you guys hired bunch of drunk or high teenagers for your marketing and "creative" team? This shouldn't impress even soccer moms.
I was considered to upgrade my bundle that I own for long time but barely using... Watching it served only as an extreme discouragement.
I came here to see if your program can help pro photographers achieve good results faster, instead all I saw it have 20 ways to make decent professional images look ugly and amateurish.
dreadful video
This is hideous
