Future?
I remember going to Gary's celebratory lunch at the Sizzler in Freemantle. Gary spent the whole time talking to the waitress about Oxtos and ate 47 pieces of cheesy bread. I asked him if I could have one piece of cheesy bread but he said that Oxtos talked to him earlier and said that he had to eat it all to replenish his life essence but I really wanted one so I snuck one of the leftover crusts when Gary wasn't looking. Gary noticed and got really angry and told me that I wasn't going to be able to ascend now because Oxtos was so angry that I ate one of the sacred crusts.
I feel for you man. That's pretty rough, but you shouldn't have disobeyed Oxtos. Shame
So whose fault is that? Bet you don't do that agan.
It's obvious that the Shadow Man has cast his shadow upon you, and guided your hand to take Profit Gary's sacred crust. The shadows block us from the light of Oxtos. Perhaps if you were to perform a summoning ceremony and conjure the Shadow Man you could use a 1000 candle power torch or brighter to force the Shadow Man to remove his shadow from upon you, so that you may once again walk in the light of Oxtos. However finding German Shavings this time of year is almost impossible.

I also love that Trent is gradually climbing the cult ladder through the episodes, getting nicer clothes and more Oxtonian Badges
I like how whenever one of the characters has their faith tested (like BJ searching for Katie Baby, Trent denying Sal's doubts on Gary's ascension or Linda trying to bake a cake for Nourishment Week while Amy and her dad try to snap her out of it), the camera goes from grainy VHS definition to widescreen HD - like they're trapped in the tape and they're trying to break free.

This has gone so completely out there it makes Aunty Donna seem like a beige sitcom which is already some mightily impressive levels of the absurdist weirdness I love.

I think it was just after the filming of this episode that Neighbour George turned his back on Oxtos after discovering that everything’s a drum.

Just wanna shout out The Weekly Planet! As a Canadian in the U.S. Navy (please don’t ask) all the various Melbourne comedians I’ve come across as a result of watching Mr. Sunday way back in the day have gotten me through some really tough times. Thanks again guys

Oh my, now I finally get it! It's a Game of Thrones spin-off where the Red Priestess traveled to another dimension and proselytized some Australians who didn't quite understand what she was saying. Something about "fire is awesome". It all makes sense now.

So happy to see Magnus Danger Mangus. I've missed his antics since I left Perth.
I’ve always wondered why the teachers of Oxtos’ word never say who the First Prophet of Oxtos was, only Second Prophet Gary.
Now I know what I’m going to say may sound like lies and heresy towards Oxtos but I promise it isn’t. I am a faithful servant of Oxtos, but I can’t help but think of this.
What if the Shadowman was actually once the First Prophet of Oxtos but he grew evil and turned against Oxtos, and therefore Oxtos took on Second Prophet Gary to deliver his will to the people of Earth in order to defeat the Shadowman who was once the First Prophet?
Jesus is in that room with you.

Honestly this is filling the void nicely, that change in the animated intro was perfect and really set the theme.
Someone on this show has a working knowledge of Perth suburbs and landmarks. It’s has to be filmed over east as I doubt the aunty Donna guys would come to Perth for anything but their own tour.
It was shot in Perth AND Melbourne - due to Covid and travel restrictions. Was originally meant to all be filmed in Perth

I know logically that most writing is not done on drugs or drink, but somehow this manages to give the feeling of that general weirdness that people who do imbibe know very well.

Episode 1 is a good start
I was very happy to see the return of Linda saying 'Radical!' with this episode. Every episode between the first time this occurred and now, in which Linda HASN'T said it, has been a massive disappointment honestly.
