    Worth noting: increasing the loft on your shot will make it more affected by the wind and vice versa. Not sure by how much.

    I'd like to see a video showing the clubs in your bag and explaining any changes you've made since you started playing. I've really enjoyed all your videos so far. They're very helpful.

      Thanks for letting me know. I'll do a Whats in the bag for my new series multi-player Mondays. I have an elevation video dropping this weekend.

    If the wind is to one side or the other, how do we measure the yardage left or right to aim? Are the grid squares on the green one yard squares?

    Great job on the videos..concise and to the point..good length of video and helpful information ..keep it up. Any thoughts on how your data would carry over to masters or pro levels?

    Really great breakdown, thank you for uploading this. Will watch this multiple times. Also interested working out breakdown of shots into the green if elevated or downslope. i.e green is 25ft up and your 160 out do you club up to 185.

      @@Ma_Kachada Yes i agree with Mathew A. No wind would be good seeing you just did wind then we can take the elevation video and do the math between the 2 ourselves in game. I know in real life it's usually for every 15' of elevation up or down you go up or down a club. Look forward to the video thanks for the help!

      I guys, I’ve been playing golf game since Links and for every 3 feet up or down you add or substract 1 yard. For the putting every 1 inch up or down you add or substrack 1 foot. Have fun playing that game.

      Jean Maille thank you for the info, appreciate the comment. I also saw another UA-camr saying the same thing. Do you know anything about converting from the sand, seems abit of a guessing game with splash shots

    Has anyone noticed if trees along the fairway will block the wind and reduce its effects? I've taken some shots with a 10-15 mph crosswind, adjusted right or left to compensate only to have the ball land well outside the fairway as if the wind had no affect it at all.

    My problem is, if it says the pin is 146 yards away, I calculate for 146, and, of course , always go long. I need to remember to use the book to get a yardage that would account for the roll. Too bad, with the terrible "Slow", "fast" system, it's almost impossible to do a percentage (like 75%) swing. Even with the power bar showing (which I don't use). Plus, if you try take a half swing, thinking it will be 50% power, and it's like 25% and "Slow" or "very slow". So I end up just taking a full swing and trying to reduce distance with loft.

      Common problem for many people in this game. I'm going to do a video on why playing one round on amateur difficulty can help manage these issues

    lets consider diagonal wind because thats where it gets tricky. if you use a watch face to represent wind angle, 12, 6, 3, and 9 are relatively easy to account for based on your method. However, if the direction is 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, or 11, it becomes a more complicated calculation. Any thoughts on this?

      My suggestion would be to treat a 10mph NW wind as 2 separate winds...5mph N, and 5mph W. does that check out..?

    • @Ma_Kachada
      @Ma_Kachada  4 роки тому

      That's a really great point. I failed to mention how I go about it, but I do just that. A 10mph SW wind. I account for 5mph S & 5mph W

    If you had a 12 mile an hour wind and are a fast swinger would you not apply shot shape and just allow the wind to produce your draw?

    • @Ma_Kachada
      @Ma_Kachada  4 роки тому +1

      If the wind is blowing right to left, then yes. If it is blowing left to right then fast swing should hold up against the wind, usually

    How come when I hit the ball sometimes it actually goes against the wind?

    • @Ma_Kachada
      @Ma_Kachada  3 роки тому

      It sounds like you're referencing a fast/slow shot or shot shaping against a wind. (Example wind left to right and you hit a draw or fast). If this is what you're referencing the wind can act as a wall or barrier to straighten the flight. I play shot shaping irons to use the wind as an advantage in windy conditions. If this isn't what you're asking about could you explain in more detail, so I can provide a better answer. Hope this helped.

    • @sadville13
      @sadville13 3 роки тому

      @@Ma_Kachada Well sometimes I hit it with the wind. Say the wind is going to the right I will sometimes accidentally hit it to the right. But even though I do this it swings wildly to the left.

    • @sadville13
      @sadville13 3 роки тому

      @@Ma_Kachada Or in other cases I swing against the wind and it goes wildly with the wind.

    • @Ma_Kachada
      @Ma_Kachada  3 роки тому +1

      @@sadville13 gotcha. Yeah that is tough. The game actually does a good job when it comes down to side spin. Similar to real golf the wind will increase or decrease your side spin depending on if you're going against or with the wind. Hitting against a wind will straighten the flight, but if you hit with the wind blowing the more side spin it will have. The faster the wind, the more uncontrollable the hook or slice. In my videos, you'll see me try to counter this by eliminating slow swings from my game. When I do have a wind off the right, I try to start the ball right, aim down the right, and just let the wind take it in. Not much you can do other than ride the wind.

      @mtsmitty66 4 роки тому

      Pull Cart Patrol you broke wind effect into driver and all other clubs. Is that right? For example Does the wind in your test affect the 3w and 8 iron the same?

    • @Ma_Kachada
      @Ma_Kachada  4 роки тому +1

      @@mtsmitty66 it all depends on the wind speed. The higher the wind the more your wedges and driver are affected because they have higher ball flights.
