    I just wish there was a practice mode on the game,it’s like every hole you play your in the hot seat and it’s harder to learn! And picking the right clubs has been a challenge as well! Maybe even if it was just a one hole practice it would be awesome

    • @nicstr28
      @nicstr28 6 років тому +12

      I hear you. Then your dealing with experts playing 2 or 3 accts being smarta@@es and throwing emojis all over the place because I guess they feel you're taking too long. I really wish they kick these experts and multi acct people out of the lower tours and rookie class....or like you or someone said a practice course.

    • @erichallen2485
      @erichallen2485 6 років тому +1

      Yeah that would totally help. Especially if we could play the holes on the tours.

    • @Colhogan06
      @Colhogan06 6 років тому +7

      @@nicstr28 Those guys who throw the emojis are just poor sports. You will find that the decent players won't do that to anyone. Quite honestly I have had to teach some if those emoji bombers a lesson before. One of them were really going to town on me and this was in a tournament so it didn't make sense for them to do that other than to just be a jerk. Anyway I had one of them end up behind a tree where they couldn't escape. Their only chance to have any decent score was for me to get the Eagle so they would automatically get a birdie. Well it was Hole 9 on the tournament we were playing and I knew I was going to qualify at that point so I missed the Eagle on purpose and took the Birdie so they would get the Par. I felt bad afterwards but most of the people I talked with afterwards said it was what they deserved so I guess in the end maybe at least one spammer learned a lesson. It was obvious what I did and he red mad emoji faced me after I missed on purpose. Kind of funny in a way because he was hitting me like a machine gun with emojis until he realized he needed my score. Then it stopped dead. Kind of like in the Star Trek movie when the rogue Admiral Marcus found out his daughter was on the Enterprise. He was blasting the Enterprise with everything he had until he heard his daughter's voice and realized she was on the ship he was trying to destroy. The firing stopped dead.

    Fantastic tutorial. Super easy to understand and I am just starting to use the ring system. I have been attempting to use it but I panic and timeout a lot of shots. Going to take you up on the rounding of the clubs and it should be so much easier. Thanks for your time to help all the players out.

    All I can do is thank you for this vid and info of where to get help. I went from an install, uninstall to reinstall of this game. I was stuck at course 3, never consistent enough to get above 450 trophies until you showed me this. I can now say I’m moving up consistently with winning 60%+ and reinvigorated my enjoyment of this game. It’s unreal how simple it is and how when playing, most the others wing it like I used to. AGAIN, Thank You

I always thought people were cheating when the camera went to that angle and they shoot without looking at their ball path 😆😆 Also, I love that you were visibly happy with your shot even though it didn't go in. You played the wind perfectly for the video about wind. Thanks for taking the time to help your future competition step up their game.

    Great video RJ! I have been trying to learn how to use the take shot button. I have moved the arrows around for a long time but wanted to be more precise than just guessing. I didn’t know to “point the arrow straight up,” I have been going in the opposite direction sometimes! I can’t wait to try again knowing what to do now.
    One question, do we ALWAYS TURN THE ARROW STRAIGHT UP regardless of which wind direction we have coming at us? It seems like we would.
    Thank you Sir!

      Ok so I have another question and not sure if you can help or not. It's about matchmaking and the trophy brackets. I'm sitting at about 1700ish trophies with about $300K and was at over 2100 about 2 weeks ago with over $5M coins. I just hit a bad spell where it seems like nothing I do will get me a win. I seem to get a lot of opponents in the tours 6 - 8 range with well over 2000 wins and what seem to be far superior clubs. I still have just under 1000 wins, no apocalypse or cataclysm and just got my extra mile to level 6. Not trying to sound like I'm whining because I feel if you put in the time and win over 2000 games, you should probably have those clubs. But I feel like I'm at a disadvantage a lot because my opponents have so many games, superior clubs and low trophy counts. I almost feel like I should go and lose all my trophies on tours 1-4 just to drop and get easier opponents. It's not really how I wanna play the game but almost feel like I might have to because maybe a lot of other players do it. I tried to find some info on what the trophy brackets are but really only found the matchmaking explanation on the Playdemic website. It seems like I'm in the middle ground of a lot of games where it's really difficult to make it over the hump without paying a crap ton of money. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks RJ!

    1. Find where you about think ball should land. Where you want your ball to take 1st bounce.
    2. See if you are mid.med.max
    3. Adjust the spin on the ball to fine tune landing. Maybe move target a bit to fine tune.
    4. Then flip screen so that wind is blowing straight up from your view. Line up the line at the top of take shot button with outermost ring. Touching the middle of target move down however many rings.
    5. Immediately tap take shot. At the latest with 5 seconds left.
    6. Take shot.

    I just recently started playing the game and I'm falling in love with it quickly. I've just made it to the tour V and wind is becoming a problem. Thanks for the video!

    Wow crazy that I'm in tour 8 now after just starting in August, and I'm really trying to figure out the rings better because those losing streaks you talked about are a pain in the patookis.. I'm literally where you were at thank you so much.

    Great tutorial. Thank you for taking the time.
    I'm wondering if this takes elevation differences in to account. Such as if you're hitting onto an elevated green with a good long iron where your ball is less effected by wind. Are those rings accounting for that? Also, and I'll watch again, can I assume that the rings account for what ball is being used?
    Great work, mate!
    Thanks again!

      Paul St.Germain no elevation in this video because every hole has its own elevation. However the rings don’t change with elevation. The wind does! So if you have a 10mph wind and a 10% down hill shot you just increase the amount of wind by 10%. So a 10mph wind becomes 11mph and you adjust for the 11mph instead of 10mph. For the 2nd part of your question the ball slows down the wind and the wind shown on screen is the wind you adjust for.

    Thanks for the video RJ. I watched you do this last week and started practicing with this system. I have a little cheat sheet and would do the adjustment in my head. Your system works great.

      You are welcome brother. I was eyeballing it until I saw that you turned the ball guide so that the needle turns north. I think that is the key...get that needle pointing north before you make your adjustment. I watched your qualifier yesterday and I was yelling lol at the screen because you had it pointing south on that shootout.

    Wow thanks RJ amazing easy to understand method of wind correction for beginners. I was attempting to use the ring wind correction method but I was basically eyeballing it, and not turning my screen in that direction, and using the take shot icon to help measure correctly that helps a lot! And I wasn't using Golf Clash Notebook thanks for the great video keep up the good work.

      ItsRJTV No problem bro it's guys like you, and Golf Clash Tommy that actually care about their fellow Golf Clash players to help us out that makes the game much more enjoyable. I probably would have given up on the game by now if I hadn't learned things from thoughtful caring players such as yourself that take the time to do what you do that dramatically increased my skill level which made the game much more fun, and interesting especially as I get into the higher tour levels or else I would be getting beat constantly now, and that's no fun. Thanks again bro.

    I can't thank you enough for pointing out the rounding up on the numbers I just got an albatross on a tour 4 course oasis that I've never been able to hit before I uploaded the video on UA-cam as well you don't see me adjusting for the wind as it's a replay but man I'm excited to see where I can go from here

    I've always found the ring system works a little bit differently when you're considering crosswind vs. when you're considering head/tail wind. Unfortunately, I've never found a UA-cam where anyone talks about it. As a result, I just fudge it a little bit when I'm facing head/tail wind. But the crosswind ring method works great!

    Hey RJ. Just wanted to mention that when you make your wind chart, you might want to try selecting Rings / Wind because it will show you the exact wind that you have to adjust to so you will see exactly the number of rings you need to move your landing spot respectively. Perhaps you might want to make another video with that in mind and explain what the 3 numbers mean. Just a suggestion bro. Keep on kicking ass!!
