I think doing a similar thing in Trailmakers might be an interesting, since it's workshop is oveloaded with tons of broken creations.
Why dont you do this challenge again but theres gonna be 1 rule.
"You are not allowed to Add nor Remove a part from the creation."
So that means if its missing a bearing, you cant add another bearing.
All you can do is change power settings or Move parts since you cant add any.
And it has to have the same amount of parts as when you spawned it in.
It will be hard But Good Luck!

That'd probably only really work on walkers and hovercraft, though it's an interesting idea
Some vehicles wouldn’t be able to be fixed with that rule (ex. Exhibit 2) because some are challenges that leave out parts or put too many parts on purpose
@@d4TheViewer He can still move parts so if its too many parts he just puts it somewhere where it dosent interfere and if its less He just has to follow his quote "It dosent need to work great, It just has to work"
And maybe ask the discord so he can make sure he won’t have to add stuff

This is actually so helpful... I love how you explain your thought process... never considered center of mass in relation to propulsion or a loop needing to add to 0... I have a new way of thinking!! Simple yet powerful.

I'd definitely like more of this stuff. Like a full-on series of you fixing broken creations. Really awesome. :)
This is fun! I'd like to see you try making some random contraptions/vehicles more, though. Like, a single-step reduction gear with something like x10 or x20 reduction rate (getting one gear to have 10 or 20 times more Rotations Per Minute), for example.
You’re not only fixes builds for people, but you’re also explaining what and why you’re changing things in an easy way to understand. I feel like I learned more in this video than in other videos when I searched “scrap mechanics physics”

I really like these kinds of videos. The ones where you try to fix creations that seem broken!
I definitely think this is a must do if you want to learn how to make things well. Debugging others' creations. Good idea!

Yeah that was cool. This would make a good series.
I also think you did very good with the walker, though would have tried increasing the up and down angle on one set of the back legs.
Noting that fast 4 legged animals tend to have longer legs that have more angle to them so they can extend more.

A "feedback loop" is not a problem, it is a method of controlling variables in a system based on previous states. An air conditioner, for example, relies on a feedback loop to read the present temperature (output of the system) and adjusting the input (turn compressor on/off). The problems you are having when the creation start to oscillate are not a feedback loop. What is happening is that the systems variables are going into a "undumped" state, induced by the thrusters positive interference with the oscillation.
Since there are sensors that read the ground distance and adjust the thrusters, you can see that the system is design to have a feedback loop. The real problem is that the feedback loop was not properly designed. Feedback loops are designed to be stable (maybe with some very rare exceptions).
When you fixed the creation, you haven't removed the Feedback loop. In fact, you made the feedback loop work properly.

try doing a tuning garage where you make already built cars handle and drive better
how about you have a community submission version of this where we submit broken creations and you can have fun fixing them. Sorta like puzzles :)

Do mm but you need to use maximum connections on everything, but in an intended way, so don't just put random bearing for the Last engine connection.
