there may be other guitarists who are synonymous with the 295. but to me, anytime i see this guitar , i think of Killing Joke's geordie walker. amazing guitar, amazing player, and amazing tone.
It's always surprising to me how often these old guitars with non-compensated bridges have better intonation than a lot of modern ones with tune-o-matics and such.
I absolutely adore the way these look but I’ve tried about 3 early ones and they’ve always felt wrong to play. Dead tinny tone and not at all what I expected. Still hoping to find the one that sings
Don’t get me wrong, I adore the killing joke… but that “lame blues noodling” requires more theory knowledge and dexterity than the typical power chord chugging of killing joke 🤷♂️ just facts
@mclaughlin3631 Lol...bless your unoriginal heart....Blues noodling is the usual thing every hack falls back on because they can't leave the pentatonic box.with it's five note repetition....You know zero about Killing Joke. Just facts.😎👍
"I'm Gonna Find Another You" sounds even sweeter on those P90's. Amazing tone.

Google "Eighties" by Killing Joke...
Indeed! Geordie rules!
That was the entire reason I clicked on this video.
Yep...If you don't know who Geordie Walker is, you should....Google "Killing Joke" to see what this guitar can do when used by an original....
Where does the background music come from? In every video, it’s awesome.
