We use a tarp with our fiberglass Scamp trailer. No sleeve, but we pull it part way over the top and tie it to the bumper and the hitch and then support the front with poles like what you showed. It is very versatile! Thank you for your inspirational videos! All the best, Scott
Oh if no eyelets or loops use pebbles best, with tether/strong string 🙂 wrap pebble in tarp make noose wrap around pebble. Make do-to emergency shelter with ripped tent etc 🤩
it works...i use aluminium pipes, ca 5cm long, diameter fits in theese sleeves, in this pipe a piece of paracord oder other rope knoted in a ring, here i install hooks, carabineer, with a tarp, also simple. thx!!!
🙂 brilliant ! My partner has just sent me this 😆 for several years I've said you can do this! you can do that! With Tarpaulin!!! What do we know eh 😮 Thank You Fine Sir 🤩
Is the piping an RV store item or are you using a common fabric store piping? Great video as always, PH! I had been planning to do similar with our 23- foot camper. The awning wore out and is too costly to replace now...plus eliminating the weight of the factory crank awning makes our ultralight camper even lighter. Will be trying out your set- up ASAP.
I don't have a rear c channel on my caravan but would like to put a rear tarp on for cooking under using the channel on each side. I wonder if this will work?
