Due to HOA I cannot pop up and had to put mine away a little wet. I tried to dry as much as possible, but really worried about this. My next trip isn't for another couple of weeks.
Yes. My hoa is like that as well... I open it as much as I can in the garage and pull all the canvas out. I put a few fans around it to help move the air for a few days
I. My opinion, I’d let the HOA just deal with it! As long as it’s just left up for a few hours. Our HOA allows us to keep a camper in the drive for three days, so that’s nice. We just bought a pop up again after 20 years. Excited for her maiden voyage.
I hate we had to completely remove our front box on tbe utah. Your old pop up looks good... keep the vids coming man!!! You have been SUPER AWESOME...ive learned a ton from you, and buy alot of my parts from you guys! Btw... tell your guys... thank you for the fast Shipping!!!
If you could answer this question. In the video I noticed that the tenting around the bed was completely removed before you pulled it down around the back and sides. My 2003 Bayside 12' box seems to have the ends of the tenting attached to the bed. Is this factory OEM or was it done by a previous owner? Thanks in advance and also for all the great videos. Love Md. camping.Rocy Gap and Savage River..great spots!
We have a camper exactly like that .except no AC .. That being said .. do you think it is possible to replace the interior lifts , with outside exterior manual. Lifts like on the older models
Bed stop brackets inside the bed rails likely if it was built prior to June of 97. After that manufacture date it would have hat brackets with stops under the bed platforms commonly.
You don’t want to put them away wet. They typically do not get wet, since they are under cover. Sometimes a seam in the tenting can weep in heavy rains, but we offer seam sealer for this as well. Simply use this video for a step by step tutorial in putting your camper away dry and properly. Thanks for writing!
Mine is red positive / black negative on my StarCraft, but the main wire to the converter switches to Blue after a quick connect/disconnect connector… I think the color codes are brand specific (at least I’ve seen no common standard).
Same basic rule of thumb for tent camping as well. I ruined a perfectly good tent by forgetting to air it out after packing it away wet.
I sold my Coleman Santa Fe a week ago today. Watching this video has me missing it already. :(
Just did this! Thanks for sharing
As always, great advice! Love these guys!
Great information! Thank you!

Consider just taking it to a local park to dry it completely next time, or let the HOA just deal with it for a few hours Felicia :D

Will do! Thanks
Bring an electric leaf blower for remaining water!
They work well for starting fires too :D
It wouldn't hurt to toss a fan or dehumidifier in there either.

Anything is possible, but I would recommend repairing what you already have.

How do those mattresses not get moldy?

Black wire is neutral or ground, red is hot
Not on campers
