- Leave it can take some time to learn, so start slowly and build a solid foundation.

First time pet owner, how can I tell what’s a low value treat or high one? The price?

Of course these are your dogs and nothing I say will change how you train them as it shouldn't, but I really hate the whole give them treats constantly so they'll listen to what I say. I'm sure that's not what you do but in most of your videos it is what you show.

Same 😭. The only thing he immediately regretted eating and spat out was when Little Caesars tried to make their own brand of ranch and we tried it once and it was horrible. And my dog immediately just looked disgusted, shaking his head and he immediately went for water.
I wonder about this. My doggie is quite discerning, she expects fillet steak, organic chicken etc - she won't even touch sausages - she could definitely work out the high value - & would leave the rest(my father spoilt her as a puppy & we all hv since🙈💜) - but my friends doggie would eat anything - food is food to him - & if he sees food, well..🤭🤭🙏💜
There's favorites...maybe. Unless you have a lab. They absolutely do not care. Hell, my parents' labs beg for treats they don't like. They'll go for it, spit it out, and continue to beg.

Same ever since I taught my dog when he was a puppy to leave it he’d turn his head away if I try to put the treat in his mouth. It’s kinda funny cuz he’ll turn his head every which way to avoid eating the treat. Even if I leave the room for a while he doesn’t dare eat it 😂

If you go for it, then go back a step and try again

For starters, Ellie is a therapy dog and needs to be trained, but other than that basic manners/obedience allow them to live a much more exciting and happy life.

They do that because there the smartest dogs
I like how I, with my old dog, was able to do everything without talking. He had an ear condition so we knew he'd slowly get deaf. We learned him signs for everything and even for leave it there was a sigh and he'd listen to it. I still miss that dog
