Best lightbar ever produced by a company. I open it never gets discontinued. With it being an FSJoin bar now makes it even better. This is a lightbar that needs to stay with the company for a very very very long time. Now the Vision, that’s a different story. It’s not bright during the day time and only one side of the bar can be used at a time. You want front flood? You have no rear or side warning. You want 2, 4 and 6 pods oscillating to the front when responding? You only have 4 pods rotating out of 7 now. The first LED version had pluses since the pods were populated on the front back and sides so you still had warning. Not sure why they still make the Vision when the Valor accomplishes the same thing, is much brighter, doesn’t have mechanical things that can fail, and offers true V pattern in all directions at all times. FedSig. DO NOT get rid of the the Valor. If anything keep it and maybe incorporate a dual level on it and the Integrity. But the Valor and Integrity are the best things that emergency vehicles have had in the last 70 years and for another 70 to come. It’s the only bar I have seen that seems to get brighter the further you are away from it. I have used Whelen, Code3, Sound Off, Tomar. Used to be a Whelen fanboy, FedSig has come out to be the best, even though the bar is 10 years old now, it’s still the newest tech on the market for what it does. Please Fed Sig. never stop producing that bar. Only thing I wish is that there was a way to add more hot feet on it as an option and not have to Mount something after the fact. Like some LA County SO units have the steady burn on the hot feet as well as addition steady burn under the bar. Would be nice to have those as an option to have take downs there too to provide a more centered TD since the Valor has the V. Doesn’t really matter on the Integrity since you can assign the center to be take downs. I like more central takedowns since on a traffic stop, your driver side of the car is more out in traffic, so that side is not lighting up the suspect vehicle, but on coming traffic. With more central, you can still have your edges of the bar flashing, providing warning for front on coming traffic as they usually only see the suspect vehicle, and then one headlight, and one half the bar of the police vehicle. But when the takedowns are there. All the see is white. I would have under mount takedowns for one step of TD, then the front outer of the bar for second step, and then full front white for 3rd step.
"Best lightbar ever produced by a company." As opposed to what? Produced by a day care center? Your opinion is noted. The Valor ads are to be discontinued forthwith. Signed, FedSig.
Now if you combined the Valor and Vision SLR, Valor lightbar with SLR beacons on top. Would be the ultimate lightbar, especially if you would lower the price so agencies could actually afford it
Well 8 years later, we don't entirely have light patters like that yet, but we do have a new light bar that looks like the Valor seen in this video lol
So, at the risk of a dumb question, the Spectralux LEDs. you truly have a single diode that can produce multiple colors? You need to utilize those in a small, mag-mount beacon!
Facts. The Federal Signal SLR Vision is the best (used by NYPD and LVMPD) as it combines the benefits of the attractive reflective aesthetic, updated classic look, and 360 degree visibility of rotator / rotary lightbars with the modern tech, modularity, functionality, and brightness of static LED lightbars. But if LED bars are the only option for whatever reason, this FS Valor is the best. There's no reason for linear / straight LED roofmounted lightbars to exist with Valor and SLR Vision.
The Valor is 360 too. But the rotating bars sucks because all they do is rotate. The Vision one really sucks because if you select an option like flood, all your lights are in the front, nothing to the rear. If you want 4 lights flashing to the front, you loose 4 lights to the front and only have 3 rotating. Valor does everything and more. NYPD and LVMPD need to dump the Visions. Their visibility is also very reduced under a sunny day. At night they are blinding, but daytime… the only thing you notice first are the hotfeet and the signal master.

@@dbyers3897 cool story. You know people also make lightbars too right. And there are multiple companies.
In Minnesota they change the stoplights when approaching the intersection, I think all states should have this option
most do.
Tom Sawyer it's opticom
Its called an opticom some police cars are starting to come standard with that but it cost alot to have it installed on the street lights.
That's an opticom system most lightbars have modules where you can install it
They are quite expensive
Super bright blinding lights strong enough to catch and control a perpetrator.
Coolest lightbar ever.
I live in Reading and the Reading PD uses the valor.
M67v do you mean reading near London?
The takedown's are truly GREAT. Bright and effective.
Jim that is true; however, in Raleigh and Wake Forest, North Carolina the police use Federal Signal.
My house is not even five minutes away from this company's factory.
Cool!!
Buy a lightbar for collection
That's Cool...!
You are the luckiest person on earth
Good for you? Cool?
9 years later. My department finally ordered some lol
It's never too late!
If I had a city, I’d use this for my cop cars
Now if you combined the Valor and Vision SLR, Valor lightbar with SLR beacons on top. Would be the ultimate lightbar, especially if you would lower the price so agencies could actually afford it
IMO Valor is the best lightbar available today.
this is sick stuff, wish GTA V had similar patterns.
+ExtremeHeat mods did it.
Yess

This Is Super Bright And Awesome
Where is the mini highlighter with alternating led colors that can compete with sound off and Whelen?
Used on NEW LAPD and LASO vehicles
#bringbackrotators
Looks awesome
Do you guys have federal signal hats or t-shirts

@Byron Rieckman Dude, this was *NINE* years ago! Thanks for the timely and relevant response!
Does it matter how police lights are designed? Federal signal makes the best police light bar.
What generation of LEDs do 2013 Valors use?
WHERE'S THE 2001 TORNADO SIREN COMARCIAL!?!?!?!?
I need this for my mustang but all white
You're only allowed to use them in private property unless you're a volunteer fire fighter
Amazing
Still looks fantastic but at that price no thanks.
Your flash patterns are too busy.
I moved from the North to the South...and nobody down here uses FED SIG...crazy people!
so nice!
No arguments here
The rotator lightbar is way better it doesn’t only light up the front it’s 360.

Too bad my town uses whelen :(. These are way better and more high tech.
noice
federal signal light is a piece of shit poor Chinese quality
rav4ob2 I could probably design a better police light bar system for unmarked vehicles and I'm only 14
cope
