I appreciate how you consistently put out one valuable video after the other (including your shorts). At first I was like she’s too young what does she know about timeless classic fashion, but boy was I wrong. Not only do you have impeccable style and understand how to dress, You’re one of the hardest working influencers in the game. And you don’t do it just to sell endless stuff and make commission. You actually teach us how to style and put outfits together. You give us so much inspiration. Although I do love it when you link items because you have such great pieces. Your last collection with Nakd fashion was so good in terms of design and quality. From every video, I could literally screenshot all your outfits for ideas to recreate myself. At such a young age, you have done a lot. I think you’re gonna be a real power house in the fashion industry in the future.
Hi Lydia! I'm one of your hot weather fans (Southern California). When it rains here (feels like only 5 days in a year), I pretend like I live in the U.K., and put a Lydia inspired outfit on for the day. The other 360 days are usually warm/hot. I would love to see an entire video on fall/winter warm weather outfits. "What if Lydia would be vlogging for the week in the fall, if she lived in Southern California." Can't get enough of your videos. When every anyone compliments my outfit, I tell them my stylist Lydia put it together!
@jenniferspencer33 I know what you mean! I live in Portugal and it's remarkably like California in terms of weather. I dream of chunky knits and do style them in my videos occasionally, but sadly I only get to wear them once a year. Not to mention beanies. And gloves lol!
The simplicity of these outfits is what makes them elegant and sophisticated, I am a fan of your style, and when dressing, I always think "Would Lydia approve?" You are a big inspiration to me, thank you!
I must be one of the few who'd be happy to wear linen & sandals all year round. Can't get enough of summer & light clothing 😅 Like all the wide leg, trouser outfits, especially the wide leg denim & white trousers.
Love your style, unfortunately most of them, I can’t afford and the affordable ones get sold out but will always be watching you and keep on dreaming 😔❤
Thank you for another great video. Loved all the outfits in the video. I love that you encourage everyone to shop their own closet. I wear classic styles and like to buy one or two really good quality items each year and use the rest of the items from my wardrobe. Through autumn winter I will be following your videos to Just tweak my style and keep it current. It’s great that we live in the same part of the UK as it makes your ideas very relevant to me.
Great ideas for this transitional time. Red will apparently be a color trend for fall and winter. I’m at a loss on how to style it and still look stylish but not gaudy. Perhaps, a video on this. Thanks, claire
Love Look 11! Love the whole tonal look. It makes simple outfits look chic, sophisticated and comfortable at the same time. That's the look I aim for as I watch your channel. 😊
Loving all the videos! I’ve been having so much fun and learning a ton. I’ve gone through my closet 2 x now and there may be a further purge to go. Some ideas for future content: What engagement pieces would you pick for rings - classic but modern? I would also love to see more of your routines/habits/self-care, like that 2 hour morning routine. If you have any strategies for staying healthy - fit, eating? Self-tanner you like? Also, how/where did you learn about fashion, etc.? Another fun one I thought of - what to look for when you online shop for clothes? Keep up the great content! XO
You are reading my mind. I love how effortless, yet pulled together these pieces looked. I will try some wardrobe rearranging to see how I can make my basics work for me. Tomorrow I will visit my sister and I plan to wear double denim, with a red skinny belt and red trainers. I have a small red bag, which is great for a long car trip.
Thank you for awesome tips! In the southern hemisphere, we’re also transitioning-so our outfits finally match! Normally I refer to your videos from 6 months ago 😂
I love the outfit you’re wearing. As a seamstress, if you have the hips tailored by taking them in 1/4-1/2 inch on each hip, the sagging, folds draping your hips would disappear.
I live in FL… And our “seasonal changes” Aren’t really much great of a difference. Hi I'm not Lydia, but I feel your pain. I live in Miami, and it's still in the 90s here. So I think changing color palette its a good choice for us. Stay with cotton, linen and fresh fabrics, but use a more muted autumn color palette maybe? For our winters, I use her fall outfits as inspo, such as adding a blazer, a shirt as an extra layer, leather pants or longer skirts, because we really only ever use a jacket once or twice really. Hope this helps... I also use her Spring outfits as inspo as well since it's chilly for her in England.
@@IngridsLifestyle I really got guided to come back and read your comment even without knowing someone replied! Lol I love that Spirit guidance! (Ps. But YES thank you for al your tips… That’s usually what I go for! THAT… And I also just try and take fall or winter outfits and find thinner layer version of them… Not as clunky/ chunky…. But that also removes a LOT of the favorite options, Such a cable- knit and cashmere… So we literally have to wait until the DAYS that happen to be “winter” for us, Or go someplace really cold for the night to wear those. Literally any day we even see a SLIGHT chill… You will see us in our boots and jackets bc we FINALLY get to wear them… Even if we have to wear them with short skirts or shorts or a tank top underneath bc at the height of the day, if you get caught outside and/ or without AC… You are baking! 🥵 Lol…. I just don’t like that look, especially with getting older. I live in New England it is usually nice outside this time of year. Our best weather months are September and October, but it is in the 90's today. Horribly hot and humid. We usually have similar weather to you all in England. I am ready for the transition to Fall, but the weather is just not cooperating this week. Thank you, Lydia for all those lovely outfit suggestions. I have similar pieces and can put together similar outfits from my closets with what I already have. I am not too sure I can pull off denim on denim, but it looks fabulous on you. I have put away my summer straw bags, but I am not sure when the sandals should go into storage. When does it start to look silly. How far into Autumn can you wear sandals? I do not see a lot of full-length maxi skirts round here (Boston suburbs). I have several of them but have not worn them yet. I also doubt I can pull off an oversized or fitted black moto jacket. I worked at Corporate headquarters most of my life and find it difficult to dress down. I need help with that. You make it look easy, but it is a struggle for me. Thanks again. :-)

You combine colors very well and make it seem like both light and dark, cold and warm colors fit for you😭 would be super if you made a video where you talk about colors. I'm also light colored (hair+eyes) but I find it challenging to wear colors and too often I end up wearing white/beige
Your makeup looks absolutely lovely here - something similar to what I'm trying to achieve but keep getting wrong! Do you have any makeup tutorials on how you achieve this look and the products you use?
In Miami we are transitioning from high summer to hurricane season summer 😂 Thanks for your beautiful work Lydia, you’ve changed my life in a few levels ❤
Yes! Like she said at beginning about being tired of wearing linen etc (your summer items) and shows transitional outfits I wonder how we can change it up even when the weather remains hot for fall and winter. It really does feel limiting
One more very hot day here in Massachusetts,, then a rainy weekend. Next week highs in the mid 70s! (23C) Then I can finally wear something other than a tank top and shorts or linen trousers. I miss wearing my silk scarves too.
Thanks Lydia for doing all the heavy lifting for us! ❤ With the weather that we have experienced this year, in between season dressing is another category all together! Truly I need to rack my brain daily to first figure out the weather and then pick the outfit! 😱😬 Thank you Lydia! ❤
First this I do when planning my outfit is to look at the weather, I try to get my outfit out the night before so I have time to study what I am going to wear, also no last minute mad rush on a morning.
Love all your outfit ideas Lydia but I struggle to understand the footwear you choose sometimes only as London can be very cold and the open back slides or sandals I know would be way to little for our winters and even our late autumn or very early spring weather here in Australia ❤
I always enjoy your content because you make a point to prioritize practicality of style in every day life, and you show how pieces can go further (across seasons) without feeling so constrained by minimalism that it feels fussy and effortful to make one item last all year when it should really just be tucked away to be used next season. I've tried it, it just doesn't work in my climate and with my changes in moods across seasons. Transitions between seasons is extremely short here and temperatures are in the extremes (Fall and Winter can be -10C to -50C while summers can be +12C to +40C). But it's gotten ridiculous this year. We went from 38C with extreme heat warnings to 5C with frost warnings in 24 hours this past week. I feel completely disoriented at the moment lol :').
I feel the shiney texture of a black leather jacket looks kind of severe on me. I'm delicate sized, very fair complection, older lady. So I bought a biker jacket in black suede! It's just a softer version of your look in this video. Thanks for all your outfit advice! ❤
Just got my Zara jeans shown in the video and I love them. The beige trousers you are wearing in the last look, could you give us a name or sku? Are they the greeny beige ones? The color looked really dark online. Did they come in 6 colors? Also, I love your stylish pragmatic advice, you always look great.
What do you think of a light/cotton unlined navy blue blazer with black jeans? I don't have white tshirts-would you go with contrasting light color or tonal? Thanks! Loved the tutorial.
I struggle with the weather change 😂 it changes so abruptly here where I live. It was +28C in the end of August, the next day it was suddenly only +10C, then it got back to comfortable +17C… and today it’s chilling +3C. Honestly, one doesn’t even need a transitional wardrobe here! Sometimes I wonder what have I collected all my coats for? It’s hot summer one day and then it’s literally winter in a week or two. Feels so weird to get dressed in wool sweater and down jacket and winter boots when just two weeks before I wore summer dresses.
I love the tonal look! Would love some suggestions for heavyweight white t-shirts, not cropped but not too long either. Prefer a v-neck but will take a crew. Not Arket. Suggestions, anyone?
Lydia - can you put a similar tvideo for midi skirts? I often refer to your old video on skirts to best pair midi length with shoe types. It's hard for this autumn to fall time❤
Hi Lydia, for a future video idea please give us mums some tips for standing on the football/ rugby pitches through winter. It’s flippin’ freezing and the ground is muddy….shoes get ruined, hair blows all over the place….and whatever you put on you do need to carry your phone and purse with you. There must be ways to be functional yet chic and warm
Great video as usual. I find it funny all the comments asking for outfit styling for warmer fall in their countries lol Lydia doesn't live in those areas so why would she make videos for each of them. Why not get inspiration from her countless spring videos....
I cant find knee height black leather boots that have a tapered square black toe. I would like to be able to wear them with skirts and under trousers so would prefer a tighter fit on the calf. Also don't want a heel higher than 2 inches. I think you own a pair and featured a pair in one of your colaborations. Can you feature some suggestions in a video please.
My autumn dressing dilemma is the opposite of yours. I'd love to start dressing with an autumn vibe!! However, it is still over 38 degrees C daily. How can I get an autumn feel with my wardrobe without melting into a puddle?🔥🌞🥵
For look #11, the trousers are gone from &Other Stories. Does anybody know where I can find something similar? Especially color wise. The ones at Zara and Everlane are too brown. I love the beige/sand color Lydia is wearing. Appreciate Lydia or anyone who can help. Thank you.
The links do not go to the product. They only go to the website like for the Arket and And other stories items.. not sure if it’s that way for anyone else :(
I've been struggling with this for years. When you come to a certain age when feet problems occur, you realize how stupid it was to walk all day in high heels. Try (slightly) pointed ballerinas, loafers, even white clean sneakers. Combat boots, styled with interesting socks and flat sandals for summer. If you want to wear heels prefer to invest in an anatomic pair. You can find t really elegant shoes and they are worth investing in. Your feet carry the rest of your body. Treat them well! 😊
Nice outfits but it is the same style you use All year arround for me this is not transitional at all since you look always the same except for winter and why do you always use sunnies??

Debating on buying new boots. Are over the calf boots in style for 2023?
How do you keep the sleeves of a long sleeve blazer up your arm so your not constantly moving them up your arm
For look #11, the trousers are gone from &Other Stories. Does anybody know where I can find something similar? Especially color wise. The ones at Zara and Everlane are too brown. I love the beige/sand color Lydia is wearing. Appreciate Lydia or anyone who can help. Thank you.
What shoes to wear with shirt dresses
Can you style different women?
Your links got mixed up.

Nice outfits but it is the same style you use All year arround for me this is not transitional at all since you look always the same except for winter and why do you always use sunnies??
