yup.. '80s NFC East was epic. Something (trivial) that always stood out to me... a lot of the East teams wore white jerseys at home then (Redskins, Cowboys, & Cards). Outside of the East almost nobody else did that. Only the Dolphins if I'm remembering correct. (peace)
Does anybody else miss these days of the NFL? The NFL of recent years doesn't even seem the same.
Jim Hart’s last game at Busch Stadium
He appeared in only 5 games in 1983 and those other 4 were on the road.
Then to the Redskins I believe
Miss these NFC East matchups at Busch Stadium.

Sweet. Frank Glieber and Dick Vermeil do a nice job.
After 1983 the Cardinals didn't make the Cowboys wear the blue jerseys anymore while still in St Louis
I'm shocked Pat and John weren't here.
Summerall was doing the US Open tennis final that was promoted during the broadcast.
I’m sure it took Frank Glieber a lot to not “laugh in Texas” when he said that at 1:12.
Nice throw by Birdsong on the fake punt play by the Cardinals.
I’ll bet Everson Walls still has nightmares about Roy Green.
1:18:44 Big QB Sacked!!
