I looked at ford, chevy, gmc, dodge and toyota. I looked underneath all the 2019-2020 and chevy and gmc had a lot of rust, then dodge, then ford. Used toyota's had the least amount of rust. My undercarriage on my 2007 tundra looked better than the 2019 chevy trucks. These new Tundra's addressed some of the rust issues by having a full composite bed with aluminum bed rails and aluminum lower quater panels and aluminum lower front fenders. The back wheel wells are also composite. Galvanized brake calibers and control arms and a well painted frame. I really wish it came with front tow hooks. What were they thinking? I settled on a SR5 with 13k in options. Love the truck

It's a great built truck for sure, love the way it rides and handles and feels solid, I had a Tacoma (2019) and the undercarriage was in great shape for the 3 years I owned it. Toyota had some frame problems in previous years, but I think they learned long and hard not to make the same mistake again, so I am sure these will hold up over the decades! For tow hooks, Thankfully the aftermarket industry offers a few options from mild to wild and of course one can always get a winch set up! Loved my 2022 SR… Loving my 2024 SR even more. Put 25000 miles on the first and already looking at the 10000 service this week on the 24. They are so loaded for a Base. Mine came with side steps, rear step, dashcam and bed liner. Plus a few other extras. I have since added RedArc brake controller and Air-Lift airbags and compressor to deal with squat. Love my Tundras… On my 3rd and never wore one out yet.

@@corradettimotorsports360 My 2022 Was Midnight Black, My 2024 is Silver. The black was so "Sexy" as my nephew exclaimed the first time he saw it... but a total nightmire to keep clean. The Silver is so much easier to keep clean.
As time goes on I like base models more and more. Less features and less soft touch materials. I like using a truck as a truck.

It's a great truck, feels a lot bigger than a F150 & Ram on the inside. There is something about the base models that I love!
