HARD RESET SAMSUNG GALAXY M10 WHEN FORGOT PASSWORD / PATTERN (SCREEN LOCKED):
Mare sure the battery is not empty or more then 50%
When Screen ON but locked, please press and hold POWER BUTTON + VOLUME DOWN button about 5 seconds until the screen off.

My problem is I can’t get to the recovery mode. I’ve done this tons of times but every time I do it I get it off and restarted but it just goes back on again and tells me to starts out time my password in.

Thanks for the great video tutorial. I had few phones in the past that locks with pattern, pin, and etc... but when applying the solution highlighted in the video, it requires the old email that was previously synced to the phone. Any idea why it doesn't remove that portion of security?

this worked thanks just follow the steps guys turn your phone on while holding power button and volume up then release power button and hold volume up button and it'll prompt you to select factory reset

I followed your instructions, but as soon as I tapped on Power off it shows a screen with the Power Off icon again that says tap again to power off. I did that and the screen goes back to the Enter PIN screen and shows "Enter PIN to shut off phone". How do I get past that if I can't remember the PIN?
