Allow me to understand one thing quickly here I had a blue-screen death occur on my laptop around 2014 I can't figure out why this is happening, I searched all the vlogs where I found out I Am not the only one there were almost a hundred of the thousands of peoples suffering the same problem, without any way out but that was happening only in a single household computer even after reinstalling the Window again but there was no help. Then window experts were telling us it was a problem in the command system to make the story short nothing was changed nor did Microsoft take any action Now we are going through the same situation but it is a worldwide can this have been prevented way too early what is the major problem and concern behind this virus and what was wrong back then in 2014.

No Sir you're misleading, 14:00, I'm IT engineer since last 10 years working overseas, it's just we didn't follow protocols, THE MAIN GUY WHO CAUSE THIS GLOBAL OUTAGE, Shared his video and whole technical story, it was his first day at job and he made a mistake. HIS Mistake caused this outage globally. Computer systems & networks are much mature that you can rely on. It's human ERROR / intervention which always cause the problem.
I bet he/she may a chemical engineer turned SW eng who secured the job somehow but did not know what to do. A major IT resource expert country, so-called IT gurus, are famous for this. They cut corners and under estimate importance of TEST-before-Deploy solutions. Boeing Co. Got hurt by those novice SW testers while back.
However, it is a 10 min solution for IT guys but we don't have enough IT techs to touch every effected machine in time. Problem lies with Wintel OS and solution is simple but manual. Security protocols prohibit access to most computers. They may be working on an automated solution. It will rake some time but doable.
Responsibility lies on Microsoft which allowed third party to play with their OS.
