Before heading to Toy Fair 2020, the YHS crew spent some time at the most famous filming location of them all, the Ghostbusters Firehouse in NYC!

I live uptown from here pass by it and touch it everyday... side note those guys are Real ghostbusters they prevented thousands of people from turning into ghosts on 9/11
I've visited. I'm a firefighter in Virginia and by luck met a fdny Lieutenant at a party. He arranged for me and my boys to drop in. They sell station t-shirts with the ghost logo for their station house. Fyi, interior in the movie was all a set. Nothing at all like the garage they work in.
Partially correct. The interior shots were done in another firehouse which looked coincidentally similar but have no connection between the two. This would be Fire Station Engine No. 23 Truck Co. in Los Angeles California. Today the inside of the place still look mostly the same according to one guy who had the chance to go inside it. His youtube vid is somewhere around.
When I (eventually) go to New York, this is the first spot I'm checking out.

If I was super rich I would have the Ghostbusters firehouse built on my property. Not even joking. Imagine the decorating and all the little Easter eggs you could put in there.

went there last weekend, i bought two shirts form the station. they sell some other merch such as patches, pins & sweaters
Why didn’t I guys ask them to take a loo inside , they would have let you in ... I have randomly asked to see firehouses in Manhattan as long as it’s daytime & they don’t look busy they usually let you in for quick look . Very nice guys

Quinzillion TV with a movie thats going on 40 years old, it’s hard for most tourists and locals to understand in 2020, Afterlife isn’t gonna help either, with it being filmed in a rural location. It’s up to the fans to keep the spirit alive
