Your passion for your herbs is infectious! I should have done a better job with saving my lemon basil. I do have some lemon balm, so I may do what you did here 😀
I’m so growing chocolate mint next year. Thanks for your enthusiasm and inspiration. FYI, the dehydrator gal I follow on UA-cam uses a coffee grinder for her dried herbs, it will grind them down to a powder.
@@carollewinson1555 the name of the channel is called The Purposeful Pantry. I’ve learned so much from her channel, I was a total newbie at dehydrating
@@ChicagoGardener, the one that the purposeful pantry recommended was a “COSORI Electric Coffee Grinders for Spices, Seeds, Herbs, and Coffee Beans”. Amazon has it for 31.99 right now My herbs are dried. I’ve haven’t blended them into a powder yet
This was such a fun video. Id love more videos about how you make your various teas recipes. Maybe we could join you in your kitchen while you sample different concoctions 😀 That would be great to watch this winter. P.S. where did you buy your choc mint seeds/plants? TY so much!!
I’m a hang them and forget about them person, but I’d say minimum of two weeks to hang dry herbs. You can also use a dehydrator or oven on a very low setting to dry them faster.

I make rosemary hair rinse and it's fabulous. I also infuse rosemary & lavender in witch hazel and make a facial spritz. Also equally as fabulous!
Thank you for all your work, I'm addicted to you videos:)
This was so fun to watch. If you add a liquid jojoba oil to the sugar and herb mixture you would instantly have a shower scrub.
Great video! I love your tea cabinet.
Thank you!! It’s an old shelf from my mom that happened to be the perfect size for the jars.
Oh, I just love my chocolate mint! That sounds great for my mint and ginger tea in the evening!
It’s so good!!!
What a fun idea!! Thanks for sharing, I love tea and bet it’s even better with your own garden herbs!!💚💚
Once I tasted the difference between hers I grew vs herbs from the store, it’s hard to go back!
Miy bien explicado
Thank you!!
Delicious drink ❤
It’s my go to now for winter!

Is “the dehydrator gal” the channel name or is it something else? I want to up my dehydrating game and would like to check her channel out
Ooooh! I need to get one then. It’s probably a little better than a blender you have to shake while blending 🤣

Mountain valley growers! If you order after January 1, they’ll mail them when it’s time to plant based on your location.
💚🤎💚
How long did you dry the herbs?
