Yes!!! Garden Robe!!! I’ve been doing this for years and I’m sure my neighbors think I’m nuts. 🤣 It’s warm but also functions as a barrier to the dirt/debris. I feel we would be friends if we lived closer… 😊
I never knew there were so many varieties of mint! Makes me want to buy them all. With lemon basil, I love to add it to an Asian tomato salad - fresh chopped tomatoes, Thai peppers, cilantro, green onion, lemon basil, fish sauce, and sugar. Season to taste. I eat the tomato salad with chicken, pork, beef, etc. Any type of protein. So yummy!
I need to do some of that work with my Lemon Balm. I want to save some for tea and tinctures 👊🏻🌻👊🏻 Edit: I took science classes and got my business degree too. I had a medical reason to stay in college longer than most, so I made lemons out of lemonade given that scenario lol
Very, beautiful, interesting and entertaining video. I enjoyed it very much. Near me in Southern Ontario Canada there is a wonderful herb grower that ships to Chicago. They have 40 kinds of mint and 34 kinds of scented edible geraniums. Do you use scented geraniums in your herb garden? They are so much fun. The grower is Richters Herbs. Looking at their selection on line is a great pastime in winter, even if you do not buy from them. I do not have a connection with them. Hope you are happy I am telling you about them. Evelyn
I went down the exact same rabbit hole to find apple mint but I decided not to buy it. I'm also like you, I didn't pay attention at ALL in biology. So I would absolutely binge on those types of videos. It kind of bothers me I can't explain anything 😅

Awesome video. I grew a few herbs this year and love seeing how you dry them. Thank you for sharing
I have a dehydrator I use for herbs, but I do love the look of your drying rods!

So...I apparently mispronounced Gethesmane for all the years I lived in Chicago. Oops.
