Been watching his Top gear shows since the mid/late 90s and he is my inspiration into cars. This guy is a Legend and one of the most important people in auto history.
I started watching this show because my son has had an obsession with cars since he was about 18 months old.He started watching this when he was about 6.He's 7yrs old now and he can comment on any car about the exact amount of horsepower,engine size,speed,torque etc.People are impressed with this.I am also a single mum and I think this show is mostly awesome for little boys(or girls).He looooves all 3 of them but in particular Jeremy.I love this show too as its so hilarious and I also love Jeremy! he's classic.Would love to meet him.
That is a genuine, monster, big-budget, mystery-beer-injury, "how the hell did I get home last night?" hangover. You can tell by the alcohol-discolored, dried-out lips (and the four-packs-last-night teeth), the liverish skin, which glowers unhealthily through the makeup, the pained, heavily be-bagged eyes, and the relentless headache clearly banging away behind them. He's hurting. He's a legend.
My family does the same thing. I started watching Top Gear and sooner or later my whole family has started watching it. We are doing something as a family:)
I don't see why people dislike him, he's got a fantastic personality and is imo perfect for television. Not to forget the chemistry the three of them have, pretty remarkable really.

You're mostly correct about North and South in the States. It's quite the same as England/Australia, in that England is more urban and Australia is more rural. Of course, there are completely insane variations of English in the States, like New York City and Boston accents. Listen to any Nick and Artie episode, and you'll swear they're from different countries.
Clarkson is a hero... I love how he could open any door he wants at this moment in his life, look like everything he would love 2 etc etc... he is rich as fuck and has driven more exotic cars then anybody else in this world. You would think he would have a very bloated ego and become very extravagant... but no! He still dresses and talks just like my father! Love this dude...
