Agree with your point about chest strap or high tit strap just to stop it falling off your shoulders while you get about, I retrofitted one on my excellent Independence Hike for this reason. It's super light weight mate, so for hike and fly missions - it would be perfect. It can be used for paragliding & speed flying too! Are you getting one?

It will be a front mounted reserve my friend. The 2 anchor points are the main Carabiners

You certainly can mate. That’s what I do…. A small satchel then wear it on the ride down
