Paramotor Reserve Deployment (Ozone Angel V2) - ** HOW IT WORKS AND HOW TO KILL IT

- Paramotor reserve being deployed, due to repack.
Mild winds assist to show just how fast the Apex Pull Down chute deploys.
I did this video just to explain the basics of a paramotor reserve - PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH RESERVE IS DIFFERENT
Its well worth throwing your reserve before repack. Get to know your kit, know where the line is to collapse it when you have landed. This alone could prevent serious injury or even death.
Reserve used: Ozone Angel V2
paramotor used: Parajet Maverick

Great and informative video .
Thanks for the demo.
Brilliant Dan. Most detailed & practical breakdown I’ve seen. 👍
Very kind, thank you
Nice video especially the collapse advice, helpful people tend to grab the pilot which helps the chute bite more and off they go!!!
Priceless!!! Many thanks. Have not seen PPG videos covering this.
Very kind words, thank you!
I haven’t seen one so I thought it wight be worth getting something out there. If it helps keeps people safe then it’s worth it
Rat shit I love it.Cheers fron USA!
Great advice. It does seem like the last loop on your deployment bag was pretty tight. It should come undone under its own weight, you shouldn’t have to pull it that hard, hopefully whoever packs your reserve will do a better job, sometimes the factory pack isn’t ideal.
I agree my friend. It deployed without any issue on throwing it - but it’s been repacked and that’s the first thing I checked
Thanks dude
@@DansEscapades great! Glad to hear you are better off now. I had a reserve that was like that from the factory, I had to put it in a deployment bag designed for the harness I was using, and luckily it is perfect in the harness (Woody valley gto light pod harness)’s deployment bag.
@@SkidzFPV hopefully we never need to use Them :)
@@DansEscapades yes. It’s like insurance, I have to have it but hope to never need it. Unless you use it on purpose in a SIV over water. I didn’t during my SIV but plan to on my next one, I think it’s something we should practice.
@@SkidzFPV absolutely right mate! Where did you do your SIV?
just came a cross your channel it's good .Just watch your tent one how is it now?
The tent is good once Iv got used to it bro. I’m not great with tents - but Iv got grips with it now. Good kit…. Just expensive my friend.
If I had my time again I’d buy a tarp and just use that (but it doesn’t look as good)
Ok.
Don’t like it …. Don’t watch it :)
@@DansEscapades Like. Thanks a lot!
