absolutely love the content, but as a biased bengals fan, not sure how you can say ja'marr hasn't had a season where he could be considered in the current tier aj brown is in. rookie year was 1455 yards and 13 touchdowns in essentially 16 games, he played a couple snaps on the first drive week 18 vs cleveland that year, 1455 and 13 is slightly better than, if not at least equal with 1496 and 11 which is what aj had last year, which put him in that tier for most people. year 2 he missed 5 games but played at a pace of 1482 yards and 13 touchdowns, this year without missed time he'd be on pace for 1400 and 8 touchdowns, with arguably below average qb play more often than not. i get the injury knock, but he definitely doesn't need to do any more production wise imo, he still explodes in ways most players simply aren't capable of quite consistently, 266 and 3 td to clinch playoffs vs kc, 192 and 3 vs arizona this year, 201 against baltimore, he's gone for over 100 more times than he's gone for under 50. i don't see how he isn't there

I see what you’re doing here, sir. In his defense, Cupp was hurt for a majority of time, so I think he’s going off potential and impact. Regardless, St. Brown should at least be in Alpha’s
@@descartes_8696 Actually Kupp wasn't one of the receivers I put up there. St. Brown was player C, but Player A was Deebo Samuel and Player B was Amari Cooper. I wanted to get a player with slightly more games played and a player with slightly fewer, to show that St. Brown is producting at an elite level regardless compared to a lot of the guys he has ahead of him. In fact, if you take all of the stats over the past two seasons from the players he has as Alphas or better, Amon Ra St. Brown has outproduced 8/13 players in terms of receiving yards and has either tied or beaten 5/13 in touchdowns. His PFF grades are also up there with the best in the league. I just firmly believe that, even though he's not a traditional outside WR, ARSB is still one of the 10 best receivers in this league.
Im curious of what you think of Kavontae Turpin. Does Jayden Reed have potential to be #1 for the Packers? One comment is that I think Lamb should be up one tier but the lowest of that tier.
My problem with the Amon-Ra ranking is you shouldn’t punish a guy for being 1 dimensional if he’s that good at what he does/the value he provides. Crude example but if we put Kelce on here (he’s basically a WR let’s be real) by your logic he’d go into the same category as Amon-Ra because he never runs any deep routes/isn’t any sort of a deep threat
Except Kelce as a receiver adds amazing value being a 6'5" 260 lbs body as a blocker. Who can delay block then turn into a receiver in pass designs and practically get some big open looks that way. His size also makes him a mismatch against most safeties/DBs and it doesn't help when he can line up outside other than the slot or in-line. Also I don't think Amon Ra is being punished being one dimensional. But in a vacuum, alpha type receivers or even Kelce add so much more dimension to the offense and can even enhance the strength of a great scheme like Ben JOhnson's. It is what great athletes with skills do after all.
Interesting concept because the tiers are structured based on role and skill. A cool approach but snubs guys like Amon Ra who I feel is better than half of the people technically above him on the list.
I mean being able to line up anywhere on the field as a receiver and still product results or even explosive plays is a plus. Kupp sorta gets mixed in the convo with the type of receiver Amon Ra is but the former is obviously bigger which makes him an even key extension to the run block game. Along with his crazy route running where he can practically line up anywhere and impact matchups against DBs. Maybe Amon Ra can get to that point but as of now, he's just a perfect fit as a slot guy who can run block for Ben Johnson's system.
Have to reluctantly agree on Rashod Bateman - the team kept wanting him to be better but he's inconsistent and keeps on not stepping up. Now the Ravens finally moved on and got Zay who's a real dude and you can tell the difference. Bateman is a #4 and with Justice Hill catching balls out of the backfield he may well be turning into a #5 option.
Only big thing is fix is AJ Brown is definitely not in that very top tier, there’s a clear tier break after Jefferson and Hill and he’s not on their caliber, Brown fits in perfectly with Lamb and Chase in thag next tier
Pierce has the potential to be a good deep threat. Minshew doesn't really target him that much but when he gets shots downfield he can make things happen
lol potential is the key word. Was the case of his rookie season and even the start where Steichen's play design was going to get Richardson big deep shots to a target like Pierce. But until he can be more consistent with that, steady receivers like Pittman and Josh Downs are going to get the lions share of targets.
Power rankings bout to be juicy😂😂. I wanna see where the 49ers and eagles are now. There’s a difference when a team blow out bad teams and a team that blew out Lions, Seahawks, 49ers, and Dolphins
22:05 another thing for Jalin Hyatt: if the Giants at least a halfway capable QB, he would have much better stats overall. The amount of time he’s open on tape and our QBs just blatantly miss him makes me sick.
If there was another guy on the outside to draw coverage or a better line he wouldn’t be getting pressed at the line every single play which is something he has struggled with. I love hyat and I’m a giants fan and I’d love nabers to pair. Panthers traded DJ Moore so they’re gonna be at the bottom of the Wr list but we without a doubt have the worst wr core in the league for depth and overall current talent
I know you put him pretty low on the wr4 section but i think wicks has chris godwin type potential. Already looks rugged in the slot and has flashed potential with his releases (even if he’s not always on the same page as his qb yet).
Lmao all these people not going to the end of the video. That being said there’s something about Amon-Ra at number 20 that just doesn’t sit right. Maybe I just have to shake a latent bias towards my Lions, but something feels off. So many good receivers it’s crazy
Always fun seeing you pound the table for Dyami Brown, when he just hasn't done it with any consistency to be put on the field. Believe me, I'd love it to happen for him, but it just hasn't. Maybe a third OC will be the charm.
only issue i have w this list is that Amon-Ra is better at this point than everyone in the Alpha tier other than CeeDee Lamb, and it's certainly arguable that he's better than Lamb too.
I am sorry, but where you ranked Puka Nakua is criminal. He was the Rams offense for several weeks. He put the entire offense on his back repeatedly this season and belongs bare minimum in the 1 of 3 alpha potential tier.
As soon as I saw that you could get to "1-of-3" ie. a #2 by virtue of being a deep threat, I was Intensely Curious as to where Marquez Valdes-Scantling was going to land!
Great job!! Still think you're sleeping a bit on Joshua Palmer (you and I were not a fan of him coming out), but he's (not so) quietly turning into Keenan Allen, go check the relevant stats, it's uncanny. He's had to deal with some injuries, so that may be a concern, but he's definitely out-playing our early expectations.
I have to disagree with Bateman in WR4 tier. Hard to truly improve on drops in game when he’s simply not getting thrown too despite being open extremely often. Him and Zay aren’t too far apart
Michael Pittman is ahead of George Pickens on his list lol. Those 1-3 middle tiers aren't in order from top down and just indicate the role they play on offense. His actual WR impact list is at 1:01:58
I think your mightily low on Curtis Samuel. Look at what he’s done in certain weeks. I think if he played with Mahomes on the chiefs he would be an easy 1000 yard receiver. He just fighting with Jahan and mclaurin to get targets from Howell
I know people are gonna disagree with the Puka ranking but he’s probably not as good as his numbers. He gets a lot of usage and is elite in certain areas but maybe not an alpha like people think he is.
Completely agree with DJ Moore. Bad take on Mooney. He’s regressed, route running isn’t as sharp and drops too many passes. I don’t think the chemistry is there with he and Fields anymore honestly
DJ Moore, Terry McClaurin, Brandon Ayuik, D Hop over Mike Evans 😂😂😂 like bro Mike has produced no matter who was on his team and no matter who was throwing him the ball these guys don’t hold a candle to him.
I appreciate the attempt to capture all the nuance with these tiers but I feel like when there are this many tiers and one tier isn't even necessarily below or above another, it kinda defeats the point. I like tier lists to know who is the best and you go down from there, and I think this format misses that. But I understand it's difficult.

It is what great athletes with skills do after all.
That Franchise Guy is on a VERY short list of people who I'd click on "I Ranked 108 NFL Wide Receivers Into Tiers" for, lol
I think a lot of these 1 of 3 slot/utility guys are underrated in this model. Guys like Amon-Ra, Keenan, Godwin, Puka, Pittman are almost 2 of 3 guys
Interesting concept because the tiers are structured based on role and skill. A cool approach but snubs guys like Amon Ra who I feel is better than half of the people technically above him on the list.
Yep, I made another list at the end of the video to reflect that too 👍
He’s better than at least half of the “alphas”
I mean being able to line up anywhere on the field as a receiver and still product results or even explosive plays is a plus. Kupp sorta gets mixed in the convo with the type of receiver Amon Ra is but the former is obviously bigger which makes him an even key extension to the run block game. Along with his crazy route running where he can practically line up anywhere and impact matchups against DBs. Maybe Amon Ra can get to that point but as of now, he's just a perfect fit as a slot guy who can run block for Ben Johnson's system.
Amazing video my man thank k you
35:00 As a Bears fan, I agree completely on your views of Mooney and Moore. If the Bears draft Caleb, they should NOT let Mooney exit the building.
To see DHOP as a alpha while amon ra is 1-3 guy in the year 2024 is absurd imo
To future me:
Are all the chiefs WRs besides Rashee Rice in the bottom tier?
Pretty damn close
Amon ra is an alpha wr. Sun god is tied for most 100 yard games this year.
33:50 Did you mean Matt Harmon? Waldman does the Rookie Scouting Portfolio. I'm not sure if you misspoke on the name or the product.
Misspoke, thanks!
Love these videos
Power rankings bout to be juicy😂😂. I wanna see where the 49ers and eagles are now.
There’s a difference when a team blow out bad teams and a team that blew out Lions, Seahawks, 49ers, and Dolphins
Where are the Ravens at now tho?
Great video! I’m surprised at how low you are on Pickens do you have a reason for that besides bad qb play
I know you put him pretty low on the wr4 section but i think wicks has chris godwin type potential. Already looks rugged in the slot and has flashed potential with his releases (even if he’s not always on the same page as his qb yet).
Love this!!!
These are great 👍🏽 !
The best NFL content out and it’s no debate
I know Charlie jones has been injured a lot of the year but I think he can be a future starter in the slot for the bengals!
Lmao all these people not going to the end of the video. That being said there’s something about Amon-Ra at number 20 that just doesn’t sit right. Maybe I just have to shake a latent bias towards my Lions, but something feels off. So many good receivers it’s crazy
Broncos fan here, I would kill for Juedy to play like you have ranked him but I’ve completely given up on him unfortunately
My autistic brain really doesnt like these teirs but im making it through
I know Irwin would be a WR4 but i would’ve loved a mention he’s awesome!
Always fun seeing you pound the table for Dyami Brown, when he just hasn't done it with any consistency to be put on the field. Believe me, I'd love it to happen for him, but it just hasn't. Maybe a third OC will be the charm.
only issue i have w this list is that Amon-Ra is better at this point than everyone in the Alpha tier other than CeeDee Lamb, and it's certainly arguable that he's better than Lamb too.
these are amazing
Came here to see where Toney landed. Did not leave disappointed.
Putting Wandale Robinson in the same tier as Amon-Ra is certainly a choice
Keep watching haha (I agree)
I am sorry, but where you ranked Puka Nakua is criminal. He was the Rams offense for several weeks. He put the entire offense on his back repeatedly this season and belongs bare minimum in the 1 of 3 alpha potential tier.
Think Elijah Moore is a slot guy not a gadget player. Now that Flacco is in there he’s actually being used as a receiver rather than a gadget player.
The Keenan Allen disrespect is an insult to my intelligence and eye sight
You should do this kind of thing for best ball too!!!
You’re severely underrating Dortch. He’s starting caliber
Good video as always but I strongly disagree putting Demario Douglas a whole tier above Romeo Doubs
Is there a link to this tier list?
As soon as I saw that you could get to "1-of-3" ie. a #2 by virtue of being a deep threat, I was Intensely Curious as to where Marquez Valdes-Scantling was going to land!
Any shot you could share the tiermaker link?
Curious where Donovan Peoples Jones would rank, I know he’s having a quiet season but still think he could definitely be a true #4 at least.
Just traded for jeudy, sortof a short analysis, can you or @anyone go a lil more in depth on his dynasty outlook?
I have to disagree with Bateman in WR4 tier. Hard to truly improve on drops in game when he’s simply not getting thrown too despite being open extremely often. Him and Zay aren’t too far apart
Where would you have Demarcus Robinson for the Rams? Since he came in for Tutu the offense has taken off
He has been awesome! Not convinced it holds up but WR4 is where I'd have him.
The UA-cam football goat
George Pickens over Michael Pittman is hilarious
I don't think he likes the colts
Michael Pittman is ahead of George Pickens on his list lol. Those 1-3 middle tiers aren't in order from top down and just indicate the role they play on offense. His actual WR impact list is at 1:01:58
👆
Darnell Mooney is FAR too high based on this year.
Ja’Marr Chase not being in the top tier is criminal.
Im not sure if id say terry has size like CD and JJ, odd statement to me
I think your mightily low on Curtis Samuel. Look at what he’s done in certain weeks. I think if he played with Mahomes on the chiefs he would be an easy 1000 yard receiver. He just fighting with Jahan and mclaurin to get targets from Howell
Where would you put Parris Campbell?
On injured reserve.
Thank God , I've been so bored lately 😂
WR’s my favorite position in all of football.
The Keenan Allen disrespect is insane
I love you TFG but I feel ya did my Rams WRs dirty
I know people are gonna disagree with the Puka ranking but he’s probably not as good as his numbers. He gets a lot of usage and is elite in certain areas but maybe not an alpha like people think he is.
Baby wake up Marcus made a new tier maker
Sleeping on addison. Should be at least alpha potential, he tore it up with kirk when jj was hurt
Mike Evans is so slept on he’s gotta be better than terry mclaurin
i disagree with amon ra if you’re gonna put london in there you have to have st brown
You knowwww we gotta see IDL next!
Completely agree with DJ Moore. Bad take on Mooney. He’s regressed, route running isn’t as sharp and drops too many passes. I don’t think the chemistry is there with he and Fields anymore honestly
I’m here to get pissed off 😂
DJ Moore, Terry McClaurin, Brandon Ayuik, D Hop over Mike Evans 😂😂😂 like bro Mike has produced no matter who was on his team and no matter who was throwing him the ball these guys don’t hold a candle to him.
I'm sure I won't disappoint
@@ThatFranchiseGuy all in all your takes are always very good the Mike Evans thing I’ll never understand but I love the content!
That's why I did the list at the end!
