    This is truly starting to encompass, i believe, much more than ido portal's rigid system of certain movement flows with slight variations. in other words i really think you're topping ido portal as far as versatility, the crux of movement in my opinion.

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому

      Hard to say from here because everyone case is individual. I would avoid any movements that cause very strong pain. Some mild discomfort and pain is normal with a stiff back in the beginning

  • @s4mbuk4

    Which ones would you leave out for people who have an anterior pelvic tilt? Shouldn't I do all of them anyways, if not to get control over the area?

    • @TheInfloence
      @TheInfloence 7 років тому

      Aaron Orchid this is my question too. I'm working on resolving my anterior pelvic tilt, which exercises are good / bad for us?

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  7 років тому +2

      All of them can be beneficial, bent over flexion-extension is a good starting point. It's often a very individual case, but what will help the most is to seek all the weak parts in the lower body and start to strengthen them.

    • @TheInfloence
      @TheInfloence 7 років тому

      Vahva Fitness Thanks a lot for the advice and inspiration. I'm going to start working on those weaknesses.

    what if i have a disc herniation, and arching, even just a little bit, gives me back pain, QL stiffness

    • @Vahvafitness
      @Vahvafitness  6 років тому

      Avoid movements that cause too much pain but I would still try to learn how to control and train the spine - just with the easier exercises

    • @Bukmaker
      @Bukmaker 6 років тому

      I tried your back "favorite" exercise, but as my spine is unstable and immobile, I was afraid to do this exercise as you show, so I was doing simplified version with my palms on my knees, and even this, light version, gave my muscles good load. I think I was able to feel erector spinae. This made me realize how my back muscles are week and my spine is unprotected. I will do my best to progress to a normal version and will look into some of your mobility drills. You are awesome, thank you!

    • @vga1738
      @vga1738 6 років тому

      Alexander Savkin I am recovering from a spinal injury and can say that the SINGLE best thing to help the pain is to strengthen the back muscles and work on flexibility there. Little movements used to be agony, but avoiding movement because of pain is only weakening the spine and making the problem worse. Don't push too far, but it does hurt a little at first until you build some strength and stability.
