Sal and Theo are incredible together. I want to see more of them. Theo can sometimes throw out something laden with a certain undertone where you know some deeper interesting perspective is there and most people don't either empathize or think to press for further context or meaning and I love how Sal naturally or intuitively does that. He's always been that way so I love their dynamic.

The way Sal describes his love for his daughter is so profound. It is so hard to put into words, but he articulates it better than I ever could. The thought of not experiencing part of my son’s life a some point in the future rips me apart. The love is so strong that there is an inherent sadness attached to it. I am so blessed and proud to watch him grow, but also sad that the moments are so fleeting! I really appreciate that Theo and Sal aren’t afraid to share this sensitive side of themselves. Anyways i was being selfish when we were setting up her high school graduation party and my mok went absolutely above and beyond and she was steessing over stuff that didnt seem like a big deal to me like balloons or food or whatever. I was like come on its just a high school graduation party. My mom had to explain to me that since my sisters disorder "Angelman Syndrome" similar to down syndrome but more severe is the best way to describe it. But my mother said she wont have a boyfriend, she wont be able to have a relationahip and get married one day, she have a "career" and many other things for us to do in our lives. And knowing my sister wont have those opportunities unfortunately, the bigh school graduation might be one of the only things she will gey to have a family and frienda all come celebrate for and with her. Broke me after she said that even though growing up we obviously knew those things would be expected.

It never gets old and the love just expands and expands and is such a beautiful gift. Enjoy this time 8 months old is such a magickal age and it goes by in what seems like a split second.
