How to Wireless Update your Xbox Controller on Xbox Series X (Easy Tutorial)

To update your Xbox Wireless Controller on the Xbox Series X, you have a few options:
Wireless Update:
Press the Xbox button on your controller.
Select “Profile & System.”
Choose “Settings.”
Go to “Devices & Connections” and then select “Accessories.”
Click the three dots (…) and choose “Firmware Update.”
If an update is available, follow the prompts1.
USB Update:
Plug the stereo headset adapter (if you have one) into the bottom of your controller.
Connect the included USB cable to your Xbox’s USB port (located on the front right for Series X).
Plug the other end of the USB cable into the top of the controller.
Follow the on-screen instructions; the process may take up to 3 minutes1.
Manual Update (if automatic update fails):
Press the Xbox button.
Go to “Profile & System” - “Settings” - “Devices & Connections” - “Controllers & Headsets.”
