SMAA is unbeatable when inside caves. The small wet specular reflection you have when using it are such a huge difference for me. For surface it's either TAA with sharpening or DLSS
I was actually pretty impressed how much better the 1.0 runs vs the early access. I run on native now with 70+ vs before I would struggle to hold 60 in the base area on a 3080 with dlss on
The game use DLSS 2 (version 3.1) not DLSS 3. DLSS 3 and 3.5 are available for rtx 3000 series, it's only frame generation that is reserved for the rtx 4000.
after two days of testing I came to the conclusion that despite having an rtx 4090 card which obviously made me lean towards dlss in this game fsr 3 works much better than dlss unfortunately, the things that essentially made me choose fsr are 3. 1=at native resolution and with dlss the game appears to have no anti-aliasing even though native has taa it doesn't seem to work 2= dlss seems to add a strong contrast that makes everything very distorted 3=ghosting with dlss objects if viewed in motion even birds leave trails (very bad) with dlss and also in native taa although much less final solution fsr = well done antialiasing, no ghosting, no sharpness and forced contrasts, what have you noticed? I hope dlaa support comes out soon
FSR 3 work very good in this game. I did another test in 1080p with a GTX 1060 and was really surprised by the quality of FSR 3 compare to other games.

Well, you said that your on a 3070 which only supports DLSS 2 so that might be the reason.

frsr 3 is has more shimmering then dlss

Sorry pcgamingwiki said it's dlss 3.1.1 but it's just the version of DLSS 2.4, not the real dlss 3. I will change that. Thanks
