If they're a long time felon looking at a third strike and a potential life sentence, it's no wonder they decide to end it all with a police shootout. When I was in prison, a guy bragged about having money. People got his address from his mail, then sent people to rob his house and they raped his girl and all kinds of messed up shit. This was in a level 1 state prison. In lower levels you have a lot of loud people bragging and talking shit. In higher levels with lifers it is quiet. Nobody talking shit, nobody bragging, nobody threatening others, very quiet, until someone gets stabbed. Level 1 people will threaten to beat someone's ass. Higher levels people don't don't threaten others, they just do it.

When I went up I went alone. I never told about my life before. I was in for RSP so nobody really gave me trouble. On outside I had wife kids house etc but told her before I went to forget me for 2 years. I was a state baby all day. I got my $20 state pay and lived on that. I made maybe 3 calls the time I was there. I don’t plan on ever going back. I saw guys come in bragging and before they knew it they were getting took for $70-$80 a month maybe more. That doesn’t sound like much but after a year most of ur people are going to forget u and stop sending money then ur fucked. The shit ain’t no joke and Big Herc is speaking truth. The ruling class of this country is all about divide and conquer. If we all came together the stupid shit would end quick.

I went to prison in the late 90's. Did my reception in Dannemora prison. The porter that brought the hot water to us gave most of us first timers a lot of the same advice as you are giving in this video. Im glad he did that for me. Im also glad you are doing the same for others.
I was telling my dad about it and he said it kind of reminded him of when he was in Vietnam in the sense that it's boring 99.99 percent of the time and then in crazy for that .01 percent of the time. Obviously a warrant is different but he meant like the extreme boredom and then some crazy shit jumping off
Great show Herc. I live in Canada, only bin for short stays over the years. Maybe like 6 times or so. Felt things going bad many times over the last couple years. I dont plan on going back at all but the judge said my next time will land me a big bit. Lucky for me I go 3 years or more so they've been lenient with me. I went from never seeing my real dad till I was 27 and he bailed me out. I was looking at 2-5 years at that point. Judge had his heart strings pulled and gave me a break. I reflect on that and it helps. This chanle helps me a bit more and might be the rest I need to stay outta that place. Peace brother.

I'm a white guy and got into a massive brawl in prison with the UAB's cause I refused to join due to most of my family being black, I was lucky that they kept coming at me one on one but after my 3rd fight in a row, broken hand and all, they ran up on me 20 deep. Surprisingly enough, the I.M. stepped in and told them that I earned the right to walk alone. They never pressured me into anything and actually helped me out from time to time after that. I owed them my life for getting involved without having to and for not asking for anything in return. I'll always be greatful to them. I saw many come thru that wasn't that lucky.

Big Herc, I really admire what you're doing with this channel. You're doing a service to people that might be on that path and hopefully make some money at the same time. I've never been in trouble but these videos make me rethink some of the dumb things I've done that could go the other way. Road rage type stuff and mouthing off to people that could cause a serious problem. Makes me think twice about the consequences. Peace and good luck to you in your endeavors.

I'm a white guy and got into a massive brawl in prison with the UAB's cause I refused to join due to most of my family being black, I was lucky that they kept coming at me one on one but after my 3rd fight in a row, broken hand and all, they ran up on me 20 deep. Surprisingly enough, the I.M. stepped in and told them that I earned the right to walk alone. They never pressured me into anything and actually helped me out from time to time after that. I owed them my life for getting involved without having to and for not asking for anything in return. I'll always be greatful to them. I saw many come thru that wasn't that lucky.
