Always incredible watching David he is a master, I wish I met him 50 years ago to learn from, thankfully he is a teacher which means his skills are passing onto others so we don't loose this skill. I enrolled in Bright Light for a year, it was amazing.
I have learnt a lot from watching all the videos of Bright Light Fine Art, often several times. Mr Leffel's approach has enriched my painting. His conceptualisation and interpretation of "abstract realism" makes sense to me. From my heart I thank Mr Leffel, S. McGraw and J. Kamin for their pedagogical way of explaining their painting and drawing processes and philosophy.
Pure gold.....every lesson. Massing, color temperature, brush strokes, drawing & how its linear vrs. painting which is mass ‘David Leffel’ quote. His books, videos, uploads....I cant thank u enough for all that u have shared. Then....the paintings!!!!! Wow! Amazing.

Seeing his work at Grand Central Art Gallery was amazing. Buy his videos ,studied/observed and sold my first of his style .
I cried while watching the master . I can only learn .
