I am so glad to find your demo about using the cardstock on top when cutting through fabric - I had been having that same problem and I think this will help - Thanks for sharing !
hi i just used my big shot for the first time and i love it. one question though, the edges are fraying. how should i seal it? is a lighter the only solution? because it burns the satin edges. thanks
Hi Angie thank so much for sharing the video with us! I'm not sure if you can help me, I'm trying to find this scallop square die, however in a round shape. Do you know where can I find it? Thank you so much Andresa
@ChicnScratch i think it's satin or its definitely satin-like. i chose satin because i was trying to be able to curl the edges with a lighter for the lolly pop look but i don't love the black on the edges from the heat. what kind of fabric do you use?
Hello Angie, i am florist. I make satin wedding bouquets. Please let me know from where i can purchase this equipment or get the dies prepared as per my requirement? Thank you.
I am considering purchasing this machine to cut faux fur and some mouse pad fabric. I'm a bit worried because I saw some of the fabric cuts did not cut cleanly. Have you or any one you know ever cut either of these materials? Thank You
Can you tell me how often you have to buy replacement mats, blades and such after cutting a certain amount of fabric. I have a big project coming up and need to cut several shapes of fabric alot of times over. Any response will help. Thanks and take care...
You can cut 8 layers at a time. I've had mine for years and never had to replace them yet. I used to use it all the time, but haven't as much recently. I've never had any issues with them at all.
1.DO YOU SEARCH EYELET EMBROIDERRY? THE EYELET IS CUT BY THIS? 2.I HAVE EVER SEEN AN AUTO MACHINE ---IN UA-cam--- "IMAGINISCE"(SEARCH KEYWORD) CHALLETE'S@

I found yr tute using big shot to die cut fabric is really useful along with the die #, thank you!!!!
Great demo on cutting the fabric. Would like to see how you made the flowers.
What die are you using? None of mine have that see through looking thing at the bottom
Awesome! beats cutting it all by hand and all the pieces will be the same - I never thought to use my dies for quilting!
@kipsstyle hey there, I've yet to change my blades and I bought mine in September.

@designsbydevo it sounds like it may be your fabric. Mine doesn't really fray. did you say you used satin?

@designsbydevo I use quilting fabric :)
the cardstock acts a shim and you need it to make sure the die cuts through all the fabric.
Thanks!
Wow...these are too cute :) TFS
