There are many different jig variations for making paracord bracelets, none are wrong or right. This is simply my version, you will need to find the right one for you; one that matches with the materials you have or can get and with the construction methods that best match the tools available to you and your woodworking skills.
All parts and components can be changed to match your desired uses for this jig.
Complete measurements and parts list with full size photographs are at the end of the video.
Built the jig and need ideas on what you make? Check out www.fusionknots.com and stormdrane.blog..., as well as my other videos. Bracelets shown may not include a buckle but 95% of the designs you will find can be adapted to utilize a buckle and jig.
I just started making para cord bracelets. This jig is ingenious! I am definately going to make one. Thanks!
Great plan...far better than most I've encountered. Build begins this afternoon.
Just made this. Seems very good! The only change I would recommend is to countersink the carriage bolt on the underside so it sits flat. I did this with a router.
thank you for being the 1st video I saw explaining where to mount the buckles with the clamps and now it makes sense for proper length of the braclet
Nicely thought out. The only thing I would do differently was run a dado on the underside to allow the lag bolt to set flush wit the bottom. That way your rig wont wobble on a flat surface.
Very nice jig, clear voice and instructions ,i,m going to make one this weekend, the only thing i will do is,after jig is complete is make a Lstand to hold jig at a 45 degree angle for easier, looking at work in progress. Thank You,very much.
Great video, I think I have all those parts other than the plastic wire hold downs in my garage right now, I'm going to use my router to cut the slot. Thanks for the very detailed information.
i also used to separate boards side by side and the braces cross wise keeps them tight and the bolt can slide between the two boards very easily. glued everything with elmers. just easy functional and inexpensive
Thank you, I showed my husband this video and later that night I had my jig!
Thank you . That was very clear and understandable. I think I will give it a try.
Thanks! This pattern is great, Love that is simple, but very effective.
excellent construction, per your advise mine is going to be a little longer for dog collars porpusess thanks for the tips and everything else, THE BEST JIG I FOUND ON THE WEB
Nice jig I made one for myself and it works great. thanks
Nice simple jig design. Thanks for uploading this!
thanks for doing this video, it's perfect not only for what your using it for but I can use this for other craft stuff. Now to get hubby to do it up for me lol :)♥
YAY!!! I have been waiting for this video, and so glad you made it. Your jig is awesome and the video is so easy to follow...Thanks again for keeping your word, to so many requests. I am making this tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing with all details. God Bless.
Thank you for this video! You are very detail oriented like myself & super clear with your instructions/ descriptions; I can't wait to make this jig. Only difference is I might have to pretty it up a bit... maybe stain the wood or paint it. ;-)
Glad it helped, and I am sure it will look awesome :)
This is really good! And simple. I love it! Thanks!
Nice Video. Thanks
gracias por compartir y enseñarnos sus creaciones.
KBK-- you might try filing/grinding down the sides of your bigger clamps to fit the smaller buckle; being nylon they won't be hard to grind down.
I made one of ur jigs with my grandfather and it works flawless I went to lowes 4 the parts and the total was $9.54
Thank you for the excellent video!
NICE JIG
Great video!
i love the wood grain
:-P
Very nice, thats a good price too, I would have thought around $15-20 (i didn't keep track of price when i built, lol)
They make washer (with square hole) to fit the bolt.
very informative
i put a block across at each end which raises the jig a quarter inch off surface its on and the head of the fly nut bolt doesnt touch the table
Good video. A little slow, though it confirms the ideas I had. Thanks
Ty
There was not a price for all thes materials but I went and got all of this today, $10
Hi there Chaotic, thank you so much for this video. I'm trying to make one and am encountering a problem: I usually use 3/8" buckles and cannot find a nylon clamp that will fit inside the buckle. I'm trying to find out from a nylon clamp supplier whether or not they make one that is thin enough. I've tried a 3/8 and a 1/4 and neither fit. I'm totally unfamiliar with everything hardware-related. Do you have any suggestions?
cool
