    It’s so awesome you guys share all “how to” videos. I just ordered all my equipment and first job this weekend. I wonder how you guys get in front of the tank so well.

    Hey man, that is some awesome work you guys did. The truck looks amazing! Roughly, what would it cost to get something like that done?

      It’s quiet a bit I know in by area and in my shop depending on how bad and how big it could be anywhere from a 2000-9,000+

    Hey Sam I just watched your vid of you restoring that fuel tank, I'm in the process of doing one now. I was wondering I only have a electric wood sander for now till I can get something better, but this tank needs to get back on this truck, is it ok to use this type of sander?

    • @keithhumphrey6405
      @keithhumphrey6405 6 років тому

      Caltrkn808 it doesnt matter the kind of sander orbital is best but you on a tanker try starting with 400 grit aluminum paper discs or vents then go straight to 800. You can spend all the time in the world "polishing" but if you havent prepped it will still look like shit

    SAM that meeting you had with your guy what did you say i could not hear it

    • @sammy3627
      @sammy3627  8 років тому

      Hey greg thanks for the comment nice to hear from you again our meeting was to discuss the issue of overshooting your compound on to the Polishing work and creating more work and being redundant by having to do things over because of the overspray of your compounds from your previous procedure I hope that makes sense but that's what our meeting was about

    Great job, but the one thing that concerned me. You were using a heat gun to get the tape off. But the truck was still placard saying that it had gasoline still in it . The tanker should've been washed out first .

    • @sammy3627
      @sammy3627  6 років тому
