Both NKP 765 & PM 1225 were pulling 30 car freight trains when they were enroute to Huntington, WV for the NRHS 1991 Convention. 1225 was given one of the freights out of Rougemere Yd (Dearborn, MI) freights to Cincinnati, OH, before meeting up 765 in Lima, OH. From Cincinnati, OH to Huntington, WV they were pulling a slightly different consist, but it had same amount of cars.
Yes, 765 Had Only 1 Headlight Back In 2009...It Didn't Regain The 2nd Headlight/"Mars" Light Until 2015...They Put It Back For Metra Trips In Chicago Area...So Didn't Have To Put "Ditch Lights" On Bottom Front/Pilot/Coupler Area...It's Been On It Ever Since...Mars Lights Were Put On NKP Berkshire Steam Locomotives Near "End Of Steam" On Nickel Plate Road...It Was An Era Before "Ditch Lights" Became Required On Diesels...Also Was Very Decorative...Besides A Safety Featured...

Now only imagine the size freight train those two BEAUTIFUL MACHINES could handle on any grade!!! That would be something to see in this plain world.
