Hey hey. I always see so many comments about my ears 😂 They're just sensitive and turn red easily. Whenever I touch them they stay red for a while. They appreciate your concern, but they want you to know that they're good 🙏🏼
I first saw it on Angelina Jolie playing Maleficent. Hers were beige and red❤️ I still sometimes paint the underside of my fake nails before glueing them on
Unrelated but related video idea -- was watching The Menu last night (have you seen it yet?), and fell in love with Anya Taylor-Joy's character's makeup look, so soft and pretty but *spunky.* Any chance you could try to recreate/tutorialize?
I'm 15 and i was the same a few years ago, it's not as hard as it seems really just try not to over do it and my biggest tip is to clean your brushes and NEVER sleep with makeup on or you will get volcanic acne all over your face lol

I'm about to turn 30, and I have never put makeup on my face (with the exception of some base). I just didn't really learn how to do it. So I'm appreciating this a lot too ❤
I love the way you decide to try new products (ex.mascara here) while creating an intentional look. You have to have a certain bravery to do so when you already have a particular vision of the look you want to achieve and taking the risk to try smth new.
We need the red inner corner you mentioned the other day as a tutorial! I love your makeup style and you always have such effortless and beautiful applications! ❤
My makeup guru 🙏🏼💄 the only makeup artist on UA-cam I still watch and listen to. Absolutely loved this tutorial since I’m a tanned skin goth girl like Jena. The look was sooo flattering on me and made me feel so confident 💖 I will definitely be doing this look often Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I've never watched anyone do makeup before but it was interesting watching you. You're really good at it. Very talented and knowledgeable. And you seem like a really cool down to earth person. I don't wear makeup so I'm not sure why I watched this. But hey I got to see a cool person create art. Nice job!
Thanks for this! I’ve been looking for a goth/grung-y look that doesn’t involve a lot of makeup. Some people look amazing with bolder makeup looks, and I like heavier makeup occasionally, but usually feel like lighter is better for me, personally (plus, I obviously don’t always have time for a lot.) This is pretty much perfect for me!
The content in this video is so valuable! I’ve spent years looking for the right nude lip for me and now I see that with these tips it’s much easier to make it work for me!
Oh, this is great!! I’ve loved her look on Wednesday since I watched the show. It feels like she wears different lip colors depending on the episode, but this such a good look!! ❤
Alexandra - if you have the sorcery palette from Lisa Eldridge, I would love to see you do some looks from that especially with the blue! I am obsessed with the looks you do for eye makeup - so very good.
I would make this my new “everyday” kind of makeup lol I *LOVE* this so freaking much! Please please continue to do “grundge” “goth/soft goth” type looks! Living for it! I only use highlighter IF that and focus on mainly my eyes & lips lol I hardly use concealer but been loving the elf eyeshadow primer. It’s like a dupe for UD primer potion. I don’t have to set it & I have oily eye lids! It’s that shit!👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥love you girl!!!!
I barely wear makeup, I am very bad at it the few times I try but I keep coming back. There's something very therapeutic about her videos, love it, need it.
Omg. I love this look so much. This is kinda how I do my make up because I suck at getting a good line so smudging is my friend. Def need to try smudging downward like that!
Fantastic look✨🖤 Now I know it isn't much of your style but could you possibly do a look on Enid Sinclair from Wednesday I would really love to see your take on that as well
This somehow reminded me of gina lollobrigida makeup, could you make a video teaching it 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I love it and I've been trying since her passing and you are so detail-oriented and fun, your version of her makeup would help me so much!!! But if you don't want to then I just want to thank you for all your amazing tips and personality! You helped me so much
In love with this look! I’m going to wear it for my upcoming opera audition! I’m so hooked on your videos! You’re one of the best makeup gurus out there!
Commenting for the algorithm. I’m in the bubble bath after working 22 hours since yesterday morning and this is everything I needed. (activates parasympathetic nervous system)🖤
Love your content. I'm learning so much about working with my eye shape and how using the right brush is so important. Appreciate all u so. Much love from me in Central Scotland xxx
Love that palette… but I can’t quite decide if I should go for the “Of Quartz” instead. Same vibe in a 9 pan. I’ve been into almost exclusively cool neutrals & both look pretty fab.
I love this look! You are braver than I though, I don't add blush to my cheeks with darker aesthetics, just a pop of highlighter to give a bit of glow.
Thanks for this video! Love the colourpop stone cold fox palette, it's my favorite. I'm not sure I'm into the lip though, I feel like for this look a less defined lip would be better - would be more of a "i dont care and still look gorgeous" vibe. Love the eyes tho! And you're nails, that's such a cool detail. Thanks for the tutorial, will be definetely try this out!
Perfect, thanks babe. In a previous video you tried some Sweed lashes. I highly suggest trying their mascara.nit has quickly become my go to. Love you and your content. Just keep keeping on and stay true to you, and you will never disappoint!
I like the soft look. I feel like I would be comfortable wearing it to work as well as out. You have an excellent hooded eye video. However, I often have a difficult time converting concepts into practice with different looks. I was wondering if you could add a quick sentence or two about adjusting a look for hooded eyes to your eye shadow tutorials. It wouldn't have to be long. Just a quick reminder if I need to adjust my wing shape or a reminder if I need to contour higher or if I need to adjust how I shade my outer corner or if I should not bother because it's not gonna happen. Thanks. Now, I'm gonna rewatch the hooded eye video to research the questions I have.
I tried your Jenna Ortega look and I LOVED how it turned out!! I can’t wait to try this one too. I feel like these 2 are gonna be my go to looks this year
Oh wow, i'm so loving this look. I so want to try this. You have such beautiful eyes. And this look suits you so well. Please do some more goth looks. Love love love 💜🖤💜
I love that lip. I have some matte palettes that really need using up and this is a good tutorial to do help with that. What a great every day with an edge look.
I’m not gonna lie…I kinda like that your eyes are becoming slightly more hooded, for the purely 100% selfish reason that I can follow your eye tutorials better now. Lol! I’ve always loved your eye tutorials so much and watched them and learned stuff regardless of our different eye shapes but it definitely makes it easier when our eye shapes are more similar. Gorgeous look as always! 👌
I know you hate it… but I appreciate the “like, comment, blah blah reminder” because I want to support you but legitimately forget without the reminder.
Thanks for this! I’m a teacher and it’s orientation week for my returning and new coworkers. It’s so hot and humid here in Korea so I am wearing my black linen dress with a belt that makes me look very “that witch that lives in the woods”, especially with my thick curly hair. I usually go darker with the makeup but didn’t want to do so much with all the humidity…something lighter seemed more wearable today. I do have dark features (blonde hair in my pfp is a wig), so I did darker grey as you suggested for an alternative. I countered this with more of the light color at the end, and blended it. It gave it a lot more depth than I normally get so I think I’m going to add that lighter step in the future. Tip: I have a purple setting powder, and this really helps with not only setting the face makeup but it also gives a slightly “sick” look when I have all the dark eye makeup. This is my go-to rather than white setting powder or lighter foundation to make it more wearable at work. Thank you!
Hey hey. I always see so many comments about my ears 😂 They're just sensitive and turn red easily. Whenever I touch them they stay red for a while. They appreciate your concern, but they want you to know that they're good 🙏🏼
Slay
Literally came to the comments because of the ear... Lol glad it's no thang
Mine do the same 😂 especially with certain earrings so perhaps you might have a slight reaction to that dagger earring. 😊
*PLEASE* do more grungy/goth "undone" looks, I'm living for them!!
Same!!!
Agreed
I’m glad the sniff test confirmed your lip balm was not too dark
Gotta trust your nose
I thought the same thing 😂
Hahahahahaha the nose, knows!
😂
The dark eyeshadow products were Mac “Carbon” and “Glitch in the Matrix,” and the taupe was “Script” :)
Thank you!
Keep the goth inspired looks coming. It’s my happy place.
I’m over 50 and have recently discovered your channel. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from you! 🥰 Dude, thank you for upping my makeup game!
I’m 53 and love Alex. You’ve found a wonderful place.
I’m 48 and I love watching and wearing makeup.
I’m 40 and love her too 😊
I’m 22 and I dabble in makeup myself too 😎
I’m just shy of 60 and I enjoyed the show tremendously! 😂😂😂. Great tutorial
Can't get over how dope that red detail on your nails is 😭
The red bottoms? Like LV shoes? the first time I saw it was with Amber Scholl back in like 2016 I was also blown away by how cool it looks😂
I first saw it on Angelina Jolie playing Maleficent. Hers were beige and red❤️ I still sometimes paint the underside of my fake nails before glueing them on
It's a Louboutin mani
I just found these nails the other day! They are from a brand called Static Nails and the style is called Caviar in almond shape ❤
Unrelated but related video idea -- was watching The Menu last night (have you seen it yet?), and fell in love with Anya Taylor-Joy's character's makeup look, so soft and pretty but *spunky.* Any chance you could try to recreate/tutorialize?
As a teen girl who's just starting to even learn the basics about makeup, I greatly appreciate this!
So I'm appreciating this a lot too ❤
This is so bomb!
Edit: Pwease pwease do Catherine Zeta Jones' version of Morticia as well! ❤️
THIS!!!! That has been my look for winter non stop
Oh my god more like this please- I am a soft goth/rock girly and I'm so bored of my usual makeup looks
This tutorial is just what I needed. SO pretty!
Thank you love! 🙏🏼🖤
Yess!
I love this look for more casual days or for the office. I can still keep my style, but just more toned down.
My makeup guru 🙏🏼💄 the only makeup artist on UA-cam I still watch and listen to. Absolutely loved this tutorial since I’m a tanned skin goth girl like Jena. The look was sooo flattering on me and made me feel so confident 💖 I will definitely be doing this look often

My daughter is 16 and we both love watching your videos. Thanks for making these.💚

Yes! Same here!
Love the lip color too.
Stone Cold Fox and Haze are a match made in makeup heaven!! This look is gorgeous, Alex!! ✌🏼💚🙏🏼
I love that Stone Cold Fox palette so much!
Makeup game is on point as always, but OMG I am impressed by the Louboutin nails!
I love this look, it's so simple and pretty. I enjoy watching your ideas.
Alexandra - if you have the sorcery palette from Lisa Eldridge, I would love to see you do some looks from that especially with the blue! I am obsessed with the looks you do for eye makeup - so very good.
Hell yeah. Love it.
I love when you just play around with colors and get super artistic. So I'd love to see one of those!
LOVEEEE this! would love more soft goth looks. Its simple, wearable and so perfect!
I really like this look! Soft enough to wear anywhere/anytime. But also could be a date night or any night actually! Beautiful 😍
@pinned@ Alexandra Anele ??
I would make this my new “everyday” kind of makeup lol I *LOVE* this so freaking much! Please please continue to do “grundge” “goth/soft goth” type looks! Living for it! I love watching your tutorials or any video of you make I just love how calming and chill your videos are
😩 Thank you love! 🙏🏼
As some who worked on the screen This eye look feels so cinematic, especially the lower eyelash thing
😩 Thank you! I so appreciate this! 🙏🏼🖤
I am in love with your thumbnail ❤
😩🙏🏼
I really love this soft goth look on you. Thanks for sharing.
This suits your face and general vibe really well
The entire look is fabulous, but your eyebrows are so perfect!
I barely wear makeup, I am very bad at it the few times I try but I keep coming back. There's something very therapeutic about her videos, love it, need it.
soft goth should be a new trend ♥️♥️
I am absolutely obsessed with your nails
With this look too?! ❤🖤 perfection
This is perfection. What an artist you are
first video of you, im in love omg
I never knew I needed it so bad up until now.
Omg. I love this look so much. This is kinda how I do my make up because I suck at getting a good line so smudging is my friend. Def need to try smudging downward like that!
i love your videos and makeup looks, they inspire me a lot :)) i also love your chatting videos. and this look is awesome
Can you pleaseeeeee do a daytime look with the “tarte clay play volume 2” palette?!?! Puhhhh leeezzzzzz! You’re the best! Love your videos!!!!
Fantastic look✨🖤 Now I know it isn't much of your style but could you possibly do a look on Enid Sinclair from Wednesday I would really love to see your take on that as well
Love this eye look!! The greys look so gorgeous on you

Daaaammnnnnn, a well deserved break! 🙌🏻❤️
I’m guessing you’re a nurse
definitely my favourite youtube channel
Can you do how to find your most flattering signature makeup x
Your nails though?! Absolutely sick!
Love your content. I'm learning so much about working with my eye shape and how using the right brush is so important. Appreciate all u so. Much love from me in Central Scotland xxx
I enjoyed this tutorial and actually learned a trick about lining the upper lash line. And this look is stunning on you; it makes your eyes look huge!
you should got the dark wig with bangs to complete the look!
Love that palette… but I can’t quite decide if I should go for the “Of Quartz” instead. Same vibe in a 9 pan. I’ve been into almost exclusively cool neutrals & both look pretty fab.
It's a great option if you don't need all those other shades! 🙌🏻
Stone cold fox is a great pallet. I have two pallets (Jefree Starr Orgy) and SCF is my 100% go to!
I love this look! You are braver than I though, I don't add blush to my cheeks with darker aesthetics, just a pop of highlighter to give a bit of glow.
Oooo. I love these eyes! Well? The entire face. ❤❤❤
Thanks for this video! Love the colourpop stone cold fox palette, it's my favorite. 🖤
The nails... 11/10
I tried your Jenna Ortega look and I LOVED how it turned out!! I can’t wait to try this one too. I feel like these 2 are gonna be my go to looks this year
it's so satisfying watching you do makeup and I love that it is up close
Great look for you. Love the colors
Love this one, you make it look so easy. I have the stone cold fox palette but not so sure i could pull this off.
You’ve made me day, week, year with this look. 🖤 You’re the best. 🤍
I also love Anya Taylor Joy as some in the comments!!! Could you do also her offset eyes? I love how they make her look.
LOVE this video. in the coming fall you can make a "Wednesday Autumn" look? lmao
Already planning for fall? Same 🤣
Oh wow, i'm so loving this look. I so want to try this. You have such beautiful eyes. And this look suits you so well. Please do some more goth looks. Love love love 💜🖤💜
I don't even wear makeup. I'm here for the videos anyway, because Alex. Thanks for being you! ❤
😭😭😭 You're the best Meagan! ❤️
The louboutin in nails.....love ittt.
I loved this look.
I love this look. Beautiful colors....❤
I love that lip. I have some matte palettes that really need using up and this is a good tutorial to do help with that. What a great every day with an edge look.
Love this look. The use Mac Brown scipt snd Mac Carbon eyeshadow in the show
I love these super close up videos. Makes for such an easy watch in real detail. Way better than stupid insta filters in tutorials 😆
This look is masterfully restrained. Respect. Have you played in the City Cosmetics Grunge palette yet?
Love this look! Very pretty, the lip is everything!
Love this look! I would do it with a softer lip but loving the vibe
You are beautiful and just an awesome artist 💝
That same palette of eyeshadow shades are in the Lisa Eldridge Vega palette, and the quality is fantastic.
Looks awesome, and it's work friendly to boot! :) ❤
This is so gorgeous and versatile, you do great things, Alex ❤️🤩
Love this look. Will try it

Clicked on this so quickly! LOVE.
Gorgeous, as always! I wonder if the color is shortened from boulder, like bold type. *Stone* cold fox, there's definitely some puns burried in there
This looks so good!
You’re so good at tutorials
You look absolutely beautiful as usual. Plus your personality is great. That was really original but that’s my comment for today.
Stone cold fox is my favorite!
You are always giving!
I know you hate it… but I appreciate the “like, comment, blah blah reminder” because I want to support you but legitimately forget without the reminder.

I can't concentrate, the skin that this girl has 😍
😭🙏🏼
