Hey Tommye, we actually thought traveling around Iceland was quite affordable. We approached it with the mindset that we were there for the natural beauty and experiencing Iceland's nature. So, we didn't feel the need to pay for the nicest accommodation or eat out a lot. We stayed at the most affordable and nicest hotels or airbnbs we could find and bought groceries for many breakfasts and lunches. All in, we spent $2,453 on our Iceland trip for the 2 of us, our budget was $2,503. This was for 7 nights. I'll put the actual cost details in the video description for reference by category (flight, car rental, food, etc.). Oh, the best thing about Iceland is all of the natural attractions are free (no entrance fee or parking fees)!
@@KeepGoingPlaces thanks much. Your cost breakdown for Athens was especially helpful (we leave today for a couple of weeks in Greece). Iceland is a to do place for us made all the more exciting after watching your videos.
@@tommyedodson2412 Oh, fun! I hope y'all have a wonderful time in Greece. I love the food there. Yes, I recommend Iceland to everyone I know. Glad you enjoyed our series there. -Jordan
Nice journey... really liked it. .. I would like to ask you one thing . I rent vw polo in Thailand from europcar , which was nice experience but still these car rental company always try to scam you ...so how much do you recommend lotus rental company at Keflavík ? ...also can say about deposit & insurance at this company ? ...
Thank you so much! We agree, most car rental companies are a terrible experience. We actually had a really great experience with Lotus. We did pay for the extra, nice insurance because of the Iceland terrain and weather, but we’re able to split the cost among 3 people so it was much more affordable. We’d use Lotus again anytime.
Brings back great memories watching this video.
Oh, I love that! It’s a special place ☺️
Really nailed it
❤❤
Thank you 😊
Would love to hear if you all found Iceland to be expensive. Looks to be worth it whatever the cost. Thanks for the series.

Hahah typical americans, paying to get on top of the tower... Been there, no need to pay.
Not sure what you mean but we didn’t do the tower, so we didn’t pay. 🤷🏻♀️
