Nice job and thanks for posting this video. I'm about to tackle replacing the window regulator in my 09 Porsche Cayenne, which is indeed the same as the Touareg and the Audi Q7, which share many of the same parts. I've watched just about every video on the topic of replacing the window regulator on UA-cam, even some in foreign languages that I didn't understand, and none of them showed the drilling out and replacement of the rivets for the window tracks, so I appreciate that you covered that in your video. This video was posted a while ago, but do you recall the size of the 4 rivets you used for the window tracks? In the video, you said the rivets used were 3/16 and long. I purchased 3/16 (4.8mm) x 20mm stainless steel rivets. Are those long enough, or too long?
if you're weary about doing this job DIY, honestly the hardest part is getting the weather-strip back on. pro tip. a bit of wd40 or FREE.ALL will help you out tremendously
