- Sometimes when we fall short, others forsake us. When friends, family and loved ones abandon us, it's easy to think that God will, too, but contrary to popular belief, He's right there waiting for us. Every second that we are away from home, is a second that God is longing for us to come home. His eyes are looking out across the way hoping to see us coming down the road. We don't have to figure it out on our own. We don't need to fix ourselves before we come to Him. We don't need to recover what we've lost. All we have to do is come home. He'll restore us and clothe us in His righteousness.
