Hi! Can I please ask you a question? I am really doubtful about something. I've been researching and have come to find out that there are some bible verses missing, and books of the Bible that may have been taken out. Of course, the Bible was written by man but I've been told that the inspiration is from God. So, why were the translators taking out books and verses out of the bible?? I'm not sure about this and am honestly starting to question my faith and beliefs. I don't want to say I don't believe in the Lord, but I'm not sure anymore. Please help me understand.And doesn't it say that we must not alter God's word??? Isn't that contradiction?? What's going on here??Im also afraid that if I ask questions like this that I'm committing blasphemy but I'm just not sure about any of this anymore....

In brief:
doubt = good IF end result is a cemented Christianity
doubt = bad IF end result is deconstruction
So basically, dammed if you do dammed if you don't.
Doubt= good if end result is cemented godly relationship, the end isn't always easy though, do keep doubting keep exploring

I believe God will always be at the end doubt that seeks to find the truth because no one wants to waste their time at fruitless activities. You need doubt. John said "are you the Messiah or should we find another".

Brother Allen I sometimes doubt then God and Jesus Christ come in with hope. I Praise and Worship God Almighty and the Son Jesus Christ. I look forward to hearing the word of God that builds faith. Thanks for sharing Jesus loves you and so do I kind sir.
Most people just want to have their ears tickled like Jesus said. To fall into the faith comfort zone. Go out and test your faith to see if it stands up to scrutiny.
Guess I needed to hear this. Had some thoughts in the car today and many other days.
Please keep doubting, and evaluate evidence before coming to a conclusion given by random people on the internet. Do not forget that you should never use your own or other people’s personal experience as evidence under any circumstance.
My doubt comes from experience of being rejected over and over. I DO NOT doubt God and what he can do. What he can do is Unlimited! My prayers and asks is a specific thing I need. Lord please remove even the doubt from my experiences and show me again who you are in Jesus Name.
If you don’t forgive you invite doubt because in the middle of doubt is “OU”, you feel someone o’s U!

Please pray 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻for me I am struggling with doubt because of false teachings I’ve heard from different sources I’m a new Christian and feel I’m hanging on by a thread God has proved himself to me over and over since first crying out to him in June this year I was full of the Holy Spirit and on fire for jesus I then gave my life to him in October and since have been attacked nightly with thoughts of disbelief that I know in my heart isn’t true but my head says otherwise I’m waking at 3am and struggling I no longer feel his presence and my faith is dwindling please pray for me that my god will not leave me and hold me up my anxiety is through the roof I can’t read my bible properly or pray as I did !!all I can do is praise him for what he has already done and I will never stop praising him I still go to church but my heart feels numb anyone got any answers for me 🙏🏻❤️

I wish I had this video when I was younger. Would have saved me from a lot of struggle and depression.
I am still struggling with this but much better yeah kind of wrecked me in highschool and pregrad school but am making progress. Obviously there has to be a holy spirit residing in me even when I stopped believing I never encouraged Christians nor non Christians that God wasn’t real so idk maybe you could say I believed the whole time??
My lack of fruit scares me and makes me doubt bc, ‘you will know them by their fruit.’ And, ‘a good tree cannot bear bad fruit not can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.’

Brother Parr, I praise the Lord and give Glory to him for using you as his vessel with this message. I needed to hear this, to consume this so much today. It's not just doubt I struggle with. It's knowing God's grace is sufficient. It's wondering "who I am" to Christ but also asking who he wants me to be? I am literally lost in this moment and feel very alone. I appreciate this word though, it certainly helps.
Why are You wondering Who You are in Christ? If You have Accepted Him as your Saviour, Trust and Rely Only on Him, Not the things of this world, have Turned and Repented of your old life, You are His Child, are Saved. Best to Focus on Who He Is, Serve Him and Your Fellowman, Follow and Obey Him. Confess sins, and ask for Forgiveness. I write this for Newbies to the Faith, and for people who don't know Jesus yet. You're Never alone in Jesus, The Holy Spirit Lives Within us, He Turns us From our sin. Even though we don't always feel God's Presence, He Is Always With us. His grace is sufficient, and you have been perfected for all time (Hebrews 10:14). Who you are to God is an adopted son (Ephesians 1:5) whom He loves with a love that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19). He wants you, in short, to be more like Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1) and an ambassador for Him (2 Corinthians 5:20). We learn how to do that by His Word. I'll be praying for you

Its good to self evaluate at times to make sure we are in the faith. I always beleive the best assurance of salvation is Gods presence in your mind, i cant go a single hour without thinking of God. Its a relationship, its about Jesus. How important is He to you? Do you desire to grow in Him? Are you willing to obey and follow Him? Do you reject the world? Are you convicted / feel remorse when you sin? When you get down, pick yourself up and keep fighting, its a spiritual war out there.

Guard your heart with your mind. Not the other way around. No matter what sound reasoning i give you, you will cling to your objection if its based on feelings. Problem of evil is an example. Im not always emotionally satisfied with answers to the POE but i am 100 percent satisfied intellectually.

Jesus thankfully distinguished a difference between doubt and unbelief. Doubts are natural but prayer can resolve them. Unbelief is rejection of God and usually caused by Satan or by one’s own arrogance or more likely ignorance. Both can be overcome but true humility is key

Before starting to live for Jesus i was a lukewarm Christian my whole life and feared death a lot . Then with Jesus i had that fear gone by getting way closer to Him and realizing that He is real and Heaven and hell are too. But that fear of death comes to me sometimes again in the type of unwanted doubt and i see it as a spiritual attack . In one way I feel good abt it bcs I know im closer to God and satan gets mad abt it but in the other way I feel fear that these attacks wont ever end

The original teachings of Christians & the knowledge of Judaism behind them made everything fit together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle. Things to help with your journey that helped me: The Liturgy of the Hours (prayers); Divine Mercy UA-cam channel: Explaining the Faith with Chris Alar; EWTN, especially watching Mitch Pacwa (tv, internet, radio, Christian newspaper); The Catechism of the Catholic Church (book. Clearly explains all doctrine with Bible sources)
I always thought I blasphemed god and felt horrible but I think it’s the fact that I expect god to do and answer things for me right then and there but with god you need to wait

I struggle with perpetual doubt, and It never ceases. I don't struggle with existamce of God, or even Jesus dieing for me. I doubt that God is good and that God loves me

You've basically described the proper way to deconstruct a person's faith. Not deconstruct in a way that leads a person away from God but in a way that leads a person to find out the truth.
I'm struggling now not because of my experiences alone, God have been good to me. But I can't be blind to the fact the thousands of innocents are dying without gods protection across Palestine, Ukraine, Afghanistan, manipur and many more.

My doubts when I became aware faded to bring a strong faith which is life
Ive been doubting my faith for a while now. I feel bad that i am. I feel God is mad a me for doubting even though I know he isn't. I know doubt contributes to having an even better relationship and confidence in Christ. Can some if you all pray for me? I need help through these tough times.

Hi, don't try to do it in yourself, We Need to have Fellowship with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, they Support us, Encourage us, Bible Study is Essential, to Know and Understand God's Word. I thought I understood some things for years, then when going to Bible Study, it meant something else. We Need to Worship God, Give Him Thanks and Praise, Even for the small things. Worshipping, Singing Praise to The Lord, with your Brethren is a Beautiful and Powerful thing. We Can't do it alone, we can get distracted, diverted by the evil one. I haven't bn well enough to get to Church, so watch on U Tube, but it's Not the same. I Hope to get there soon, and to the Monday meetings. God Bless You.
