*Such a simple shortcut I wish I'd learned 15 years ago!!* Have you had any lightbulb moments in After Effects recently?
Brilliant! I've also been wondering if there's an easier way to do this but I've been too lazy to find out. :) Thank you so much!! Again!! Great channel.
Wow, I just stumbled upon this and feel your pain and just had the revelation myself. THANK YOU!
It still stings when I use it lol the bitterness resides.
Ctrl+Alt+Home > Ctrl+Home. I use these shortcuts more often than precomp =)
Ah I've always gone up to the pan behind tool and double clicked holding Ctrl. Nice to see an even faster way! 🤘
DAMN!!!!
would've saved me days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😭😭😭
Better late than never :)) very useful tip .
This is sooo helpful! Thanks for sharing :)
Another commenter dropped another life saver. Ctrl+Alt+Home to centre the anchor in the layer. 😭
perfect!
Thanks Joe!
yeah, it's helpful command. Another easy way would be to select one of those layers who are already in the view and copy-paste the position to the new layer ;)
As long as you've not adjusted their Z position already!
Any function that I am constantly returning to, like centering anchor point or even creating new layers, I try to learn the shortcut key for.
Anyone know how to "toggle transparency grid" on/off? I would love to know.
Hahaha, welcome to my life!
This is all very familiar to me.
It's exactly these things that leave me stunned every time. Probably all a matter of perception, habit and the devil knows what else...
Hm, how can one prevent that?
Quite simply: Not at all!
So just take a deep breath, laugh about it, have a cup of coffee and go on... 🙂
Quite right!
Tutorial does not work for homeless people..
Eh?
