Magic Circle Cast On for Knit

The magic circle crochet cast on is amazing for when you want to cast on in a circle which doesn't have a gap. Video made to demonstrate the principle to knitters who are more comfortable using knitting needles than crochet hooks.
If there is a step that is hard to see because my fingers are in the way or I went too fast, please comment and I will definitely comment back to clarify or reshoot video to better display the method.

YAY BEST CIRCLE CAST ON EVER I THINK WHAT ABOUT FOR FINGERS ON GLOVES, OR TOP DOWN HATS OR TOE UP SOCS OR HUGE CIRCLES OF 80 to 100 stitches placing markers for the shoulders to work a top down sweater if YOU DO THE INCREASES YOU CAN GET A CONTIGOUS SLEEVE!

I never saw this comment, or I would have gotten back to you. I apologize. Here, I cast on with dpns but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to cast on this way with a circular by putting half your stitches on one side and the other half of your stitches on the other side after you've made the initial "magic circle". Actually, it is probably easier to do it that way but I haven't tried.

So funny that I was looking this type of technique in youtube but I couldn't find it, only the magic ring crochet. And I thought this a magic ring special, I had to learn by looking at the book I bought. Lol. Thank you.
