I did once fly with a spray bottle of Pledge All Purpose Cleaner (small blue trigger sprayer bottle) in my checked luggage. My bag was opened (I thought due to the trigger sprayer after the fact.) They left it in the bag so maybe it wasn't considered unsafe but I wouldn't pack anything like that again. Lesson learned.
@@inquisitvem6723 I had just purchased it at my dad's while I was cleaning up his house and I knew I could use it at home. It's a smaller bottle. Just didn't see it as much different than hairspray or shampoo.
Glad to know, since I just bought some nice lotion for a friend as a gift, and I just realized that it wouldn't be allowed in a carry-on due to size haha
I see people saying they would never bring cleaning stuff but I always buy cleaning stuff when I go on vacation no matter if I'm visiting family or a Airbnb or a hotel no matter how nice or clean. I have immaculate cleaning standards.
Nowadays you can pretty much order anything and get it delivered but back in the day living in 🇨🇦we used to bring back British products we couldn’t get like Dettol. British foods and drinks too.
@@lillianliber1798 I can understand that you take food and drinks back home (when I go to Switserland I buy Rivella because where I live they do not sell it). But it is weird that they not sell Dettol in Canada.
@@daylightdaylight6612 I’m sure they do now, I am talking about in the 1970’s when we flew BOAC back and forth. Back then in England I couldn’t find peanut butter or Cheez Whiz , coming back to 🇨🇦there were other products. I remember as a younger me being sad that there were no hotdogs back then, where we were anyway 😂and when I asked for an ice cream they gave me two wafers and a tinfoil wrapped cube of vanilla, I was used to Canadian cones. Culture shock both ways 😂😂
I pack it and haven't had a problem but not huge cans, I pack a small one and put a travel size in my carry on...its usually enough for two weeks, if not I can buy more.
GREAT to know! THANKS

Why would you bring that?? Same for any household cleaner😂

It makes sense❤❤❤
That's correct, also remember nail polish remover is a no-no too because its very flammable.
I've taken air freshener. Best if not aerosol. Ozium is okay.
What about spray sunscreen? Does it allow in checked baggage

Any large aerosols are a No-Go. Leave the XL can of hairspray behind.
Can i pack glycolic acid
Hiw about cooking oils in cans or in sealed bottles

Safe ingestable liquids -- in minimal volumes...
Can someone explain me why someone would take household chemicals with them on vacation or when visiting family.

@@lillianliber1798 ok I understand
what about my aerosol hairspray? I always bring it
Always fine…don’t worry

I would never bring cleaning stuff in canister.
Don’t know, have never taken household cleaners on a trip. Maybe some beer, wine, or specialty stock oil that I can’t buy in the US.
Who would bring that stuff anyway
What about weed or edibles?
Yes especially in Muslim countries they love that stuff
If I can't take clorox what am I meant to inject to prevent covid? 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
