- "Little Women" is a 21st century musical based on Louisa May Alcott's classic 1869 semi-autobiographical novel of the same name. This new musical version opened on Broadway on January 23, 2005.
This production was produced in 2013. Speaking personally as someone who has seen musicals on Broadway, London, and throughout the world.... I believe you'll find this particular cast, especially of the beloved March Sisters... truly amazing and spectacular. Their chemistry on stage pulls the audience into a reality very difficult to capture on stage. Audience members have said the actress portraying the lead character "Jo," played by Madison Pintar, brings her to life exactly as she is portrayed in this timeless classic. You will laugh, you will certainly cry, and you will leave with a true sense of passion for life.
Little Women is a musical with a book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland. This theatrical stage production was directed by Jason Katz. - Розваги
Stumbled on this by complete accident…. The actress who played Jo is INCREDIBLE! Wow. Great job by the whole cast as well.
They're all amazing - but I especially LOVE Amy!! She had the perfect attitude - definitely snobby or bratty but not so much that it ever seemed unbelievable. Every word she said just was perfect! Nothing seemed forced at all, completely natural. That can be really hard to do when you're playing a character like Amy! She even had certain mannerisms, like the way she sat or walked, that just added to it so well! She was a REALLY well-developed character, and it would have been really easy to have not been! PLUS an AMAZING voice - always absolute perfect pitch and beautiful voice sound and quality, and a great range! Plus just natural PERFECT comedic timing! She was emotional too - but just the right amount! I wish I could be as good as her! She is an amazing amazing actress!!!
This cast does have a "spark". I love Jo and Meg. They seem to know how to live on stage. They seem especially natural. I believed that meg was in love. Everyone did a great Job! Some things were meant to be was great!
Thank you all for your generous comments. I only produced the video, but I can assure you that I share your comments with those I still see, AND the cast sees the comments and are honored that so many are enjoying their performance.
Hi! where was this recorded? I was wondering if this was done by a community or school maybe?
What a beautiful production! Getting serious Cassie S energy from Amy in the best way 😂
i’m playing beth in my schools production of little women. ahhh i’m so excited our show is soon! i love the song “some things are meant to be” it’s lyrics are so heartwarming and the harmonies are soft.

My school is doing this for our musical this year!! I'm playing Marmee! I'm watching this now, it seems great so far!
Jo was outstanding; amazing voice! Everyone did an great job and portrayed their characters very well. Meg was by far my favorite. Although I did love Amy's snotty attitude(: I also love the set. Very well done. The only thing I don't like was Prof. Bhaer's side burns!

This sounds great, really good singing! No faulty techniques standing out, I'm very impressed! Hope we do this at my school...
That girl playing Jo is Great! It's no wonder she got the lead, no one can pull the attention away from her. So Good!
Madison Pintar is an AMAZING talent
The actress for Jo was amazing. Great job to her! Everybody else was just as excellent! :)
I think it;s a lovely, energetic production. Jo is terrific.
Absolutely love this performance!! My only issue is with the feedback on their microphones, other than that: OUTSTANDING!!
i aspire to be like every single female actress in this whole production. WOW this is really good
This is a great production! Very cinematic in presentation and wonderfully acted/sung all around. This 'Jo' is especially a revelation, but everyone was just as excellent.

perfect
Everyone is great!!! I’m auditioning for a Beth in about a month!!!
This production if fantastic! I love the set. Does anyone know how the fire is made to look so realistic?
its just your basic fake fire you buy anywhere... just looks good on stage
My school is actually preforming this week
where was this produced? enjoyed this production very much!
my dream role is Amy ♥️ I doubt I’ll ever get a chance to play her, but a girl can dream! :)
Why are you monetizing this video when it's a copyrighted work?
awesome! where can i find the script?
I am playing the role of Meg in our play and I'm a little stuck on how to portray her. If anyone has any advice for character choices, that would be fantastic!
+Kirsten Claire meg is mature, she has a motherly figure and is kind and caring yet stubborn :) i got beth btw :)
+cam belle thank you so much!!!
Kirsten Claire np!! break a leg!!
just "sell it" Kristen... and as they say "own the stage." Just like some of the comments on here... those are the basic tricks to greatness!
I just saw it in the high school
My God child and I need to go see this together.....huh Gracie? Audio?
I still cant understand why Jo didnt end up with Lori.
Um... maybe next time include the source in the title? I thought I was about to watch a professional touring company or something...
Is this a high school production or a community theatre?

not sure if its the orchestra or the performers but the music doesn't match up at some points. everyone sings amazing though great job!!!!
What state was this?
This as we
Is this like the book or different?
Different. It's pretty good though.
Very different from the book. Lots of details are changed or omitted completely, but they're both wonderful in their own aspects!!
what's the 'style' of this musical
Veronica Norene it's very traditional based on the music, but it is based on the book, so it does have uniqueness in that sense.
Is it just me or is Laurie underpitch a lot? Just really didn't find his songs that great
I hate Professor Bhaer's German accent^^ But I think this can't be changed...
I love this musical, they sing soo well! Lovely!
Is it just me, or does Rachel Hawkins look like Kaley Cuoco?
I could barely hears her voice in the beginning
People have been saying the musical is dead for decades. It is finally true.
well considering it's been around hardly one decade, i'd say your information is incorrect

Why is there a laugh track?!
The orchestra sucks lmao
