I think everyone assumes the other cars will get out of their way so they proceed as though their car was the only car on the road. ??? Most of these accidents seem to be completely avoidable. Trying to fit 3 cars across 2 lanes doesn't help either.
Nailed it. We have this mentality here in Romania as well. The guy to your right signals a lane change, then proceeds to change lanes through you. Then he says "didn't you see that I signaled?", like it is the most normal thing in the world to just slow down and let him go even if he has no right of way.

there is some real good clarity on some of these dash cams. anyone have any suggestions on which ones to buy?
Gear best is a good site. My g1w camera I'm still using for over three years. They have flash sales too and give warranty. Other Chinese sites I try and stay away from. Got too much garbage from them

Russian car insurance must be crazy expensive
it looks like once you can: (a) text while driving & cause a head-on collision (b) make a u-turn on a busy street without looking for traffic first (c) forget how to drive cautiously on ice & snow and (d) not watch for cross walks and rear end another car that's waiting for pedestrians, you qualify for a Russian Driver's License.
Also bring the tester a large bottle of vodka.
