Thank God I was on His mind. He looked ahead in time,saw me in my sin,fear, and loneliness and died to save,pardon, redeem my soul and made me His very own through His mercy and love. What a powerful and loving reminder this wonderful song is.

So inspiring and gives us comfort in knowing that he knew us before we even knew ourselves, that he loved us, that he died for each of us , covering all our mistakes, the wrong we would do in our lifetime. That he loved us with a love that is impossible for us to truly comprehend. Unimaginable. I don't know about the rest of you, but one day, I'm going back home to live with the one and only King, my Lord and Savior, the one who created me and knew me long before I was born. I can't help but cry when I hear this song, to know what He suffered that we all might believe and have eternal life with our God and Savior. Amen.
I don't know his name.... but I was so moved by the facial expressions of the guitar player. I don't know but what it must be hard to keep playing when you feel the Spirit of God flow over you He appeared to be fighting back tears while this beautiful song was sung. Myself, I couldn't hold back the tears... I wept like a child at the thought of what He has done for me. The trials... the tribulations.... the pain of this life, it will one day all be gone. Removed by the blood of Jesus. I didn't deserve it... I don't deserve it.... but He saw something in me the that I didn't know was still there. I'm almost 73 years old, with some health issues, and I know, beyond any doubt, that there will come a day when I stand in the presence of my Lord and He welcomes me home....
Herb Houston the guitar player is Kevin Williams, a true men of God. He is a humble brother and one of my favorites being with the Gaithers. It is amazing how songs still can tough him as he is playing them over and over again, that is only the work of the holy spirit.
Actually he IS crying. I love him too. Not often do you see musicians get emotional, but he does...quite often.
I've got this video saved on my computer and listen to it often. There are several people who have done this song, but I saved this one because of the guitar player, so emotional.

His name is Kevin Williams and he has been with the Gaithers for years. Usually he has a big smile of his face like he is really enjoying his part in praising Jesus.

Shakiya Bauer, dearest, I've learned that some people will not tolerate anyone who loves God. They love to make fun and laugh at Christians. Please pray for them as God asked us to do. They are still His children and they still have a chance to save their souls if they have a mind to. I pray that they will change and come share Heaven with us and be happy in the Paradise God has created for us. I can't understand why they do not believe as we do but I will still pray for them. How they can listen to this glorious music and not be moved by it is very hard to understand. I know satan has got a tight hold on them and he fights to hold on. Remember, Jesus had to fight satan every day. They need our prayers.
